Season 7 of Game of Thrones has started. Today was Episode 2. There is a large group of GOT Roleplayers inside Second Life, HERE. This sim is really cool to go look at. Make sure you put on an OOC tag when you go visit. I have never roleplayed in this game before but it always looks like it must be fun (looking from the outside in) and I LOVE to dress up. I last did a Khaleesi look in 2014, HERE. At that time the dragons were babies and we all were wearing system bodies and heads inside SL. Times have changed in both SL and King's Landing, lol. The dragons are all grown up and it was time for an updated fandom tribute picture. Astralia has made that easy with an amazing "Winter is Coming" GOT themed Gacha set at The Epiphany. I particularly loved the fitmesh cosplay Khaleesi outfit. Dressing up was super fun!

I am loving the Ariskea Petit Paris set at Arcade. I of course needed the entire set- including the rare flowers and skybox. This is a beautiful, girly furniture set. I am enjoying my new space in new Apple May Designs Molly boots- a recent release. These boots are so cute with a Kawaii flair. The legwarmer and bows color change via HUD. As I have mentioned on my blog previously, I love sci-fi and fantasy. So it should not be a surprise that I am a big GOT fan. Last Sunday season 4 premierred and in SL an event called The Secret Affair with a GOT theme also started. My aisling dress comes with a texture change HUD (all variations of the main color). This is a gorgeous materials ready dress. My shoes are from Pure Poison and come in 3 colors for one low purchase price. These are made for our SLink flat feet.

The rest of my items were won in the various Gacha machines at this event. My jewelry set is from Loviisa and I got the entire matching three piece set in fawn out of the machine!My dragons are the rare in the DRD machine. I was lucky and got the blue and green rare dragons, but I could not seem to get the third red one. SO...I tinted one of the other dragons to make a red one. You can find it all at The Secret Affair. The dragons are animated, Look!

I always have fun with Hiram. It does not really matter what we do. I am always happy just to be with him. We both really love Gachas and Arcade and had so much fun this round. I am still opening all my stuff, lol. This picture spread highlights our Remarkable Oblivion rare hats, my Curio Obscura coat, Hiram's Dynasty rare shirt, and our Secret Store ice skates. I had the picture above in my head and Hiram found the perfect pose as a dollarbie on marketplace from G'Secret so I could get it from my head onto this page. I have a bunch of Arcade things for sale at the Juicy yard sale too, even a few rares.

I also thought this picture spread would be great to participate in this weeks Strawberry meme: Winter Season. I am at my friend Lolita's house. Thank you Lolita for letting me use your beautiful home! So here goes.

1) What is the December/ Winter season like where you live? Like Strawberry, I live in Florida so we don't really have a winter. I do live in Northern Florida though so it does get cold although its been about 75 the last few days. We get a few cold weeks here and there and a few cold days. It never snows which might be why I love it in SL so much. I think its pretty but that's probably because I do not have to shovel it!

2) When you think of winter, what is the first thing that pops into your head? Winter break, lol. I get two weeks off every year and I really look forward to that time off from work.

3) Have you ever played any extreme winter sports? Well I have never really traveled anywhere and there are not a lot of winter sports, extreme, or otherwise in Florida.

4) What do you like most about this season? Christmas and Christmas decorations! I love driving around and seeing pretty lights and all the decorations. That answers #5 too. I celebrate Christmas!

I love all the Teefy stuff and I plan to wear them as dresses. I love the ruffles on the bottom! I tried to get some Teefy rares, but alas the machine was not kind. The home decor items this round were numerous and amazing. I can't get over how much I love the Second Spaces craft room items and they are all only ONE land impact. The proposal: Hiram made an elaborate grid-wide hunt with clues. I had to find each place with just the aid of clues, search, and my love of fashion and SL. Hiram spoils me and so at each stop once I figured out the place, he was leading me to a pressie which he then bought for me- but I had to work to find them first! It was a blast and really the hunt alone would have been a wonderful day.

However the last stop was on top of a waterfall with "Will you Marry Me" poofers all over, Hiram on his knees with some truly eloquent words, and a beautiful ring. So men of SL, don't try- you can't top that proposal. You could however take notes. The reason it was so amazing was:

It was personal to us and our history
It was very thoughtful and took a lot of planning and time
It was totally romantic

If you put those three things into a proposal, I bet you get the answer Hiram got- YES.

I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I just had to go back to work. My summer is over and the last three weeks kicked my ass. I am still going to be super busy for a little longer but I decided to come take a SL break. If you look at my history, I can never blog or play SL much mid august through mid September. It's about a month long time where I just can't get in game due to RL, always, every year. You can count on it.

I know I am late to the 20's collab craze, but I enjoyed dressing up and shooting pics anyway. If you got sidetracked by other events in August, there are still a few days to get this months retro collection at collabor 88. This next picture is purely for fun and its a gif- so remember those lower the quality of the picture. It looks like a frame from an old time movie.
