On another note, this round of Arcade only has three days left and the Jian splashy dogs are sooo cute. Reign is at Equal 10 with these ruffle fishnet stockings and star platform wedge shoes. I am so in love with both of these items. The platforms include 30 color options via fatpack HUD. The ruffle fishnets also include 30 color options and ruffles on/off via HUD- sold separately. The above picture has some extreme windlights and photoshop and the colors of the items might not true to the game (depending on your windlight)- so make sure you try a demo and/or look at the picture below. I was trying to make it look like I was in a club with some cool club lights happening- at least that was my picture vision.

I am a sci-fi gamer geek (see this past 2013 post). So when I saw these giant alien Reign bags with their shiny, glittery amazingness, I really loved them. You can also find a giant emoji and heart bag at the event as well. These bags are unrigged and bento animated and come with a 30 texture change HUD. The above picture is normal, clear windlights so you can see the items and colors as they are in game. Make sure to check out Equal 10 before May 5th.

October is my very favorite month in Second Life! This year it seems like the spooky times are ramped up to full blast even more than usual. There are a ton of Halloween themed events starting today or soon (Salem, Momento Mori, Panic of Pumpkins, The Hallows- just to name a few) as well as fun Halloween things to do! I always make a FUN things to do October post- so be watching for that. I love the spooky, pumpkins, and costumes that come with this month. I am looking forward to all of that and new fitmesh costumes!

Today I went exploring spooky places for the first time to see my old favorites and new ones too. I stopped at The Haunted Home of Frankenstein made by sim designer Beatrice Elaine. She owns Wicked Designs which is her business for creating sims. This one is really well done!

I am wearing some new things from uber. My Just Because dress is wonderful for fall. Long sleeved and hugs me in all the right places. I love the wrinkle details. My Doe hair is also new at uber. It is longer on the sides than in the back and has some cute pins holding the front to the side as well. You can find both of these new releases at the new/current round of uber.

I love pink and purple a whole lot, but Iridescent might actually be my favorite color. I can't ever pass it up when I see it whether its on a dress or shoes or whatever. Iridescent and shiny means that it must be mine. A new to me store, Espy, caught my eye at the current round of N21 with this Iridescent Purple dress. I did not see a demo which normally means I won't buy the mesh because I need things to work with my mesh bodies and so trying them on is essential. However, I bought this dress anyway and I have to say I am very glad that I did. It is cute, slightly babydoll in design, and Iridescent purple!

In other news, IKON just released a new eye series called Sovereign Eyes. I try and wear other brands of eyes and maybe I do for one day, but thats about as long as I last away from my IKON eyes. I love how realistic these eyes are! If you are an IKON VIP group member you can get some very pretty Sovereign green eyes as a free group gift also. I love getting new eyes that I really like!

I could have called this post, "A Few of My Favorite Things." This Earthstones jewerly with Abalone shell (which is iridescent) is probably my favorite jewelry set that I own. The iridescent and purple stones are just gorgeous. My glittery Shakeup eyeshadow is also my very favorite makeup that I own. My Iridescent Belgravia shoes and glittery A:S:S nailpolish- more favorites! I am so glad I got to share a few of my favorite things with you today and add a new iridescent purple dress to them!

Skin Fair 2015 opens on March 13th and I spent my Sunday trying on demo skins. I was absolutely thrilled to find a new-to-me skin that I fell in love with. My skin, kensi, is new from alter ego and will be exclusive to the skin fair. This is a wonderful base skin with natural and slightly pink lips (called blushed) that you can use to start your look and would take make up layers beautifully.

Here are all six available skin tones: almond, honey, caramel, havana, brown sugar, and godiva. The skin comes with brown and dark eyebrows so in almond and honey I am wearing tintable brows (from alter ego) that I made light and dark blond and in godiva I tinted them black.

Features of the kensi alter ego skin:

Comes with two lip colors: natural and blushed
Cleavage and no cleavage options
Variety of parts: no bits, no nips, no vag versions
All skin tones come with Loud mouth, NyamNyam, and Sweet Lips appliers

You should definitely try a demo of this skin located on sim 2. Landmarks will be provided as soon as Skin Fair officially opens- so check back for the update.

A great way to show skins is while wearing lingerie. I have some beautiful new lingerie from Maai that is at Showroom this month. I am wearing this skin and lingerie with my Slink hands and my Maitreya Lara mesh body. Maai Melinda comes in four color choices (black, red, purple, and teal) with five applier styles included with each color. Slink Physique/ Feet, Omega, and The Mesh Project appliers are included.

Maai also recently updated all of their fingernail HUDs to work with Slink 2, Maitreya, and Omega. I played with the darling polish, which is an assortment of neutral taupe tones, in this post. I painted each fingernail a different neutral tone.

I am so super excited about the new Slink update. All of the mesh parts are updated- Physique, Visage, Hands, and Feet. I can't decide what new features I like best because there are so many great ones. Here are a few new features that stand out to me:

You can paint each fingernail and toenail seperately.
There are twice as many alpha cuts. At 88 alpha cuts you will be able to wear clothes with ease.
The shape of the physique body is overall curvier and more defined and I love it!
You can save 8 alpha cuts that you use most often right in the HUD.
The hands and feet are now in the same ultilities HUD and from there you can control nails, polish, tattoo, stockings, and gloves.
The feet and hands are now fitmesh and only one size. The wrists and ankles are still sized but intead of different feet the sizes are controlled in the same utilities HUD.
You can wear different feet which will let you wear different foot tattoos on each foot and you apply them with the HUD. You do not have to take off a foot and then put it back on. Same thing with gloves and stockings- you can wear different ones on each hand/ leg and you control it all in the HUD.

I am sure there will be more features that I love as I continue to play with all my Slink 2 parts. Go get yours by hitting the redelivery terminal in the main slink store. You can read more about it on the Slink website too.

cheeky is at Jewelry Fair 2014 with some great metal casual pieces of jewelry. These are not girly-girl jewelry pieces. They kind of have a bad-ass girl vibe to them. Did you notice my crochet bodysuit? It is hand drawn seam perfection by Sassy! It is made with all kinds of appliers including slink physique and Omega. I can only imagine how long this took to paint to get all those seams as amazingly perfect as they are. It is truly beautiful work. You can find dreamcatcher in 9 colors at the new round of Lubbly Jubblies that opened Sept.15th.

By the way, I am wearing it on my slink physique with my curvy shape but I have been tweaking my curvy shape. I increased the body thickness, love, fat, and a few other tweaks to try and proportion better with my boobs. What do you guys think of my tweaked curvy shape?

This happened to me yesterday and it made my day! If we all did one every day just think about what a better world it might be.

My hair is brand new from Magika, Meadow, and it was a gift from a sweet person yesterday, Thank you! This updo braided style is just gorgeous! My dress is by Liv Glam and available at Designer Showcase where everything is 100L or less just til the end of June. This beautiful dress has 6 different textures that you can change via Hud. Look at the back of this hair and this dress, gorgeous!

My pose is by infiniti at the gacha event, Tales of Fantasy, which will close June 30th. If you have not been, there are only a few shopping days left and lots of great fantasy items! I love gacha events of all kinds. This has been a really super gacha month!

I have some more Fantasy Gacha items on today. I am really having fun with this amazing round. If you need items, I am selling some at my yard sale- Kirsten's Gacha Garden. Come have a look! Today I am wearing one of the rare Junbug gowns, the Rare Aaliyah Calico hair, the beautiful Sax Shepard Designs Nia Moon jewelry set in silver, and the Nerdology wings. My pose is from the very cute Infiniti fireflies set. You can find them all at Fantasy Gacha until June 3rd.

The SSD Nia Moon jewelry set is one of my favorite things from this round of Fantasy Gacha. It consists of 6 parts (necklace, tiara, earrings, bracelets, anklet, and belt) in 4 different metal colors. The Rare item is a gem hud that made both the gem colors in my jewelry possible. If you are looking for this rare item, I have one for sale for only 200L at my yard sale.

My picture place today is called Botany Bay. It is a Sci-fi role play sim. You can rez, do not need a group, do not need an observer tag, and are actually welcomed as a photographer. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner. After telling her that I was there to take pictures she welcomed me and gave me a tour as she told me about the sim.
