Blueberry released two swimsuits recently. I decided to play with Xanthe's Cloning Yourself Tutorial and make one picture with lots of different variations of the new swimsuits. The Michelle one piece swimsuit was released at the mainstore and the Peachkini was released at uber. The Peachkini comes with a floatie that you can attach to yourself and if you "enable the fun" you can follow other sims or bump them if they are wearing a floatie too! I am so excited that Geeks N' Nerds is back again this year. I had so much fun last year at this event that I have been not patie...

I am so excited that Geeks N' Nerds is back again this year. I had so much fun last year at this event that I have been not patiently waiting on its return. This picture is pretty accurate but does not capture all of my geek. I am a few parts smart book nerd and a few parts geeky sci-fi and I like it that way. My first geeky outfit consists of this Secret Store top, Cae necklace, and Livalle shoes- all exclusive items to the event.

Look at my periodic table shoes by Livalle! So wonderfully geeky and I love the colors she chose- pink, mint, purple, lime, and yellow. These are unisex and are made for both male and female Slink flat feet. There are six nerdy textures to choose from too. Make sure you check out Livalle (formerly L.Warwick) at Geeks N Nerds. You have until December 10th to shop the event.

My cute nerdy pose props are all by !bang and I got them sometime in the past in a gacha machine. I bet you can find them in the main !bang store. I tried to get the one called Talk Nerdy to Me and a bizillion pose props later- I never did get it. Gachas- its a love/hate relationship, lol.

Please excuse a few parts of me that are not rezzed as well as I like. I wanted to take pictures at the actual event because the build is all futuristic sci-fi wonderful but it was laggy and I crashed about 20 times getting these pictures.

I really love these Ricielli floral shorts that you can find at The Dressing Room Fusion for one more week. They have some normal blue denim ones too and I will be going back to get those. The shape, fit, and materials enabled texture is really well done. I also got my unique bracelets by glow Studio and my nail polish by Zoz at TDR. I picked up some more stuff too. This is a really great round. If you have not been yet, you should plan a shopping trip.

Hiram and I have been working off and on all this month on redoing our house. We basically picked all the snow stuff up and started over making a nice spring/summer space. When I get it all finished, I will show you guys! I worked on my garden last night and I had a blast. I had a lot of wonderful items from Arcade and combined them with the new Funky Junk garden bench (which I tinted blue because I am not a green person) and what next Garden Paving Stones.

It is not finished yet and I have a whole other area to plant, but I think its coming along well!

I really love The Men's Department monthly event. I always find something there that I want for myself whether its poses or decor. Plus it has the greatest deals for men with lots of high quality content. We are going to show you the two poses made as a collaboration by Consignment & !bang that you can find this month. Both are just adorable couple poses. This first one, sweet nothings, contains 6 sayings and as you can see I added some of my own text in photoshop to personalize it just for us.

Well I know in my case its definitely true that we are better together. I am kind of a handful though so he might be ok by himself but please don't ever tell him that! *wink* Seriously though, people that have known us since 2002 and 2006 say that we were just meant to be together. We are peas n' carrots.

I did not need the build of Shoetopia to be all ethereal and in the clouds because a place with tons of new SHOES is automatically shoe heaven to me! Have you been having as much fun at Shoetopia as I have? Not only tons of SLink add on shoes, but also lots of great Gacha machines make this a superb event. The shoes on my feet are by Boom in their doll pink color and I love them! I also have a bow in my hair made by Boom and its new(ish). I had been meaning to blog it and just had not found the right look for it, but when I got these new shoes with the adorable bow on the front I knew they needed this big doll bow.

I am loving the Gacha items at Shoetopia. Both of my poses were obtained in the Gacha machines. The first one is by Rack Poses and the second is the secret pose in the !bang Gacha machine. I think I might have went a little bit shoe crazy.

I went to faMESHed November and I will start with the end of the story before I tell you all about my traumatic evening. I am wearing the new dress from Coquet, shoes from N-core, and hair by Exile. I love them all, am happy, and I think I am super cute!

Now my crazy night! faMESHed is laggy on day one and of course I know that. I went through happily clicking the demos of all the items when I suddenly realized my money was about 4,000L lower than I thought I had. I had to go to my transaction history on the main website to figure out that I had ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT THE SHOE FATPACK WHEN I WAS TRYING TO GET THE DEMO. I have no idea how I did that, but it was really laggy I suppose.

N-core shoes have a demo and are no transfer and so I did not expect to have my stupid mistake rectified, but I sent Nuria a notecard anyway. I figured it could not hurt and I am a long time customer and have blogged her shoes many times too.

I was pleasantly surprised when Nuria contacted me and refunded my money! I almost did not want to write about that because I don't want other people to think this is standard practice and take advantage of her. But it was just such wonderful, amazing, unexpected customer service that I could not help myself. I also had a nice talk with her about the sheath on her shoes. I had not bought N-core shoes in a while because I could not turn off the sheath and in shadows it does not look very good due to an SL glitch. Nuria informed me that you can wear her shoes with the sheath on and high graphics with shadows as long as you turn OFF ambient occlusion. This worked pretty well actually and the sheath did not appear as a horrible much darker object. Thank you for everything Nuria!

I went back to faMESHed and got the demo and bought a single color of the shoe. Customer service like that will increase your sales second life designers! It turned a customer around that was not buying shoes due to the sheath into one that will again. I have always loved the sexy, delicate shape of the N-core foot and if you follow my blog you know that I buy ALOT of shoes!
