Steampunk is always a fun fashion aesthetic for me. I recently binge watched Steampunk'd on Netflix and I loved everything about that show. Eudora 3D has been doing some amazing Steampunk pieces lately and I actually incorporated three new recent releases into my above picture. The Eudora 3D Steam Circus Boots, Steam Clock Hat, and Steam Gazebo are all new recent releases. All of these mesh fashion and decor pieces are highly detailed 3D renders. They are just beautiful!

The Steam Gazebo is at 6 Republic which is a "New Decor Experience," as the official website says. This event will run from November 6th-20th. The theme for the event is "Amsterdam vs. Australia with the following influences: Vintage, Rustic, Antiques, and Steampunk. Eudora 3D hits the nail on the head with this Gazebo. It is truly breathtaking! The Steam Clock Hat is a new release at the current round of We <3 Roleplay. Finally the Steam Circus Boots are a new release at faMESHed and will be there for the November round. As I said, Eudora 3D has been making some amazing Steampunk designs this month. These are a limited edition item and will only be available during this round of uber. They come in two colors cream or a the little bit darker one that I am wearing called coffee. Uber is full right now so you will need to use a Let me in or Get me in HUD or wait a few days. I love my Get me In Hud- it works every time to get me into full places and it does not teleport you away after you get in.

I have more fitted mesh on today- both my Rebel Hope outfit and Has Been boots are fitted to my Slink Physique and can be found for only 95L at My Attic until 1/31. I am enjoying fitted mesh so much that I was a little surprised with the results of my fitted mesh poll: 35% Love fitted mesh, 39% Hate fitted mesh, and 26% Sometimes like fitted mesh. You can still vote in the fitted mesh poll, here. I did not like it either until mesh bodies, but items fitted to my mesh bodies have been perfection for me so far no matter what shape I am wearing. I have on my curvy shape today with my Physique.

Eudora 3D is participating in the Enchantment event for November. The theme is Rumpelstiltskin and Eudora 3D interpreted that into really intricate and elaborate steampunk design boots and hat. This is an event that has a "stamp card" and 20 participating stores. Basically if you buy one item from any of the stores, then you can go to the "prizes main location" and pick out any prize item from any of the participating stores (not only the store you bought your item from). You get one prize for each item that you buy!

What a fun event! I like that you can pick a prize from any store when you buy an item. You don't have to buy all twenty items (unless you want all 20 prizes), but for all that you buy- you get to pick out a free prize.

The Eudora 3D boots are the item you can buy in the main Eudora 3D store and the hat is the prize item that you can pick up in the prize room after you buy any item from any of the 20 participating stores and get a stamp on your stamp card. There is more information about this event at the main store as well.

It is a new round of Genre and this time the theme is Barouque. Kaithleen's made a modern take on the 17th century styles that dominated this period of history by raising the hemline a bit but the patterns and shape harken to a time of cotillion balls. Also at the event is the very time period pose pack Sarabande by NanTra. They look like a graceful lady moving through those period dance steps. Everything at Genre is 100L or less during the monthly event.

I know that the expected hair would be high and white with rows of curls and ringlets but I decided to go a little bit "fairy tale" Baroque after I put on Ohmai's hair at Hair Fair. There are four styles and in each pack you get a regular version and a "tweeter" version. I am wearing one of the tweeter versions that includes animated birds holding up some hair. All of the styles are really unique and special. There is also a free gift in the Ohmai Hair Fair booth as well as the fact that a portion of all sales goes to wigs for kids. So go shop because new cute hair and donating to charity is a win-win!

I look forward to Arcade months with impending glee. The week before it opens I have all the vendor photos gathered and have huge wide screen viewing of the items while we chat about what we want and make our want lists. I am truly addicted to Gacha in general and especially Arcade. This current round only has three more shopping days where you can go and listen to the addicting sounds of the machines chime as you pull. I am showing one of my favorite machines from this round in this picture, Ohmai fairies. These are the companion fairies, but of course I needed the whole set, including the rare shelf. Ohmai items are discontinued not long after events, so if you are like me and still kicking yourself for missing out on the Noah's Ark spice rack, make sure you don't miss this adorable fairy set.

These companion Ohmai fairies are animated and in order to really appreciate them you have to see their little wings flutter. I made a gif of my Evie's Closet fairy self flying with my fairy friends. (Remember gifs are low quality images.)

I also needed the Mish Mish Kitties! I was not lucky enough to get the rare display case, but I improvised and used a Scarlet Apple side table which I think came out kind of cute!

Random Act of Kindness: is a selfless act performed by a person or people wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual person or people.

This happened to me yesterday and it made my day! If we all did one every day just think about what a better world it might be.

My hair is brand new from Magika, Meadow, and it was a gift from a sweet person yesterday, Thank you! This updo braided style is just gorgeous! My dress is by Liv Glam and available at Designer Showcase where everything is 100L or less just til the end of June. This beautiful dress has 6 different textures that you can change via Hud. Look at the back of this hair and this dress, gorgeous!

My pose is by infiniti at the gacha event, Tales of Fantasy, which will close June 30th. If you have not been, there are only a few shopping days left and lots of great fantasy items! I love gacha events of all kinds. This has been a really super gacha month!

Summerfest 2014 is finally open and I think its even better than anticipated. I am so broke and I even borrowed Hiram's wallet, but there were so many pretty things! Make sure you take your wallet and stop by the ATM on the way! My gorgeous Glam Affair Cassia skin, Boom bikini and shoes, and Exposeur flip flop float can all be found at Summerfest 2014. The flip flop floats are a gacha item and much to my delight there were quite a few cute gachas at this event too. I think it has become kind of a standard in SL events to have some gacha machines and I am good with that. My hair with attached tiara is by ploom exclusively at The Fantasy Collective. You can change the metal and even take off the tiara but I am not really sure why you would ever want to do that. I love tiaras and this hair is definitely a new favorite. ploom has some hair at Summerfest too, so get over there and get shopping!

Also at Summerfest, Ohmai has some adorable flamingos in 4 color options. I chose Princess. You get 11 decor in various positions (seen in picture), one flying flamingo animated pet to wear or rez, and one you can ride all for 150L. Each decor flamingo is only 1 land impact too.

I am standing on my back porch of my new summer house that I am working on decorating. You can see the amazing Trompe Loeil hot tub that is available right now at faMESHed June for a few more days. The full pack comes with the tent, fence, and all kinds of decor accessories. I am really happy with that purchase. Another amazing find while furniture shopping for my new house is this gorgeous patio set from frogstar. It is mesh, one prim each piece, and really low cost too. I found them at the Domus Fair Summer Edition which ends June 30th. There is a lot of cute summer decor and furniture at this event so check that out if you are looking for some.

You don't see me for a few days when Arcade opens because I go hog wild gacha crazy and I love every moment of it. There are so many amazing sets at this June 2014 Arcade round and it was hard to decide what to blog first, but the u.f.o ballerina items are so elegant, dainty, and girly which kind of sums me up. A beautiful PINK tutu! I could not be happier with this item! The slightly messy updo from Exile that is in the Arcade made a perfect compliment to my ballerina style. If you are in need of any Arcade items, please come look at my yardsale- Kirsten's Gacha Garden. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am at this round of Arcade!

The fairies from Ohmai are just so adorable! I thought I needed this one in this picture because she looks like she has a cute little pink tutu on just like me! I got the whole set of these fairies; it was a must on my list! So expect to see more fairies soon!

I recently moved to a 1/4 of a homestead sim. It gives me a lot of space and privacy. However, to landscape and furnish that much space with only 933 prims was challenging. I definitely ran out of prims and would probably have done more inside and outside with more prims, but I think its kind of pretty as it is. I love the spaces that I created. So come on over and peak around my La Galleria home. All are welcome. Here is an aerial view of the entire space.

The landscaping was done almost exclusively with Studio Skye materials. I love everything in that store. Now that I have used them and landscaped my own area with them as I go around SL I am noticing at least some Studio Skye element is everywhere, in every sim. I certainly loved using their materials in my own home. They are the prettiest landscaping sets I have ever seen and they are mesh so great on prims.

In the picture above you can see how the tree tunnel leads directly to the far left side of the beach and the back of our beautiful house with its upper and lower porches facing the sea. And in the next picture you can see a side sweep from the right of our gorgeous beach area.
