        I am really starting to get into the Halloween spirit! If you are looking for a great costume idea, what I am wearing today would be perfect for a zombie, dead prom queen, or other macabre costume you want to put together.         Have you watched the new Gilmore Girls on Netflix? I have to admit that I have some mixed feelings although I loved seeing the characters in Stars Hollow again. (To see my thoughts on the show, click this Plurk link.) I am wearing the FREE "Gilmore" charm bracelet which is a free gift from Cae, so I wanted to re-create a fashion look from the new show. I tried really hard to find a red shirt dress that was exactly like Rory's lucky dress, but I could not find it. I feel like I got the "vibe" of its main parts with this top and skirt from The Secret Store. I enjoy creating looks from favorite characters and I love the fun fashion in Gilmore Girls!         Nantra is at Genre with this amazing Degas' Ballerinas pose set. You get 6 poses and their mirrors for only 100L while at the event. Genre is at about the half-way point, so you have about two weeks left for this deal. This pose pack is perfect to highlight the new Slink Deluxe Feet and Margot Ballet Slippers. One of the reasons I love blogging for pose stores (besides amazing poses) is I can get all creative with the pictures and don't have to worry about showing everything so it looks authentic to how it looks in SL. My painting picture is heavily photo-shopped and strictly highlights the poses only. I will of course list everything I am wearing, but they won't look like this inside the game.

I can't believe it is almost the 21st of the month. Where did January go? The 21st of the month means 21 shoe and this round Livalle has some Frozen inspired boots named Elsa and some very sexy hot pink and black Luscious platform heels named Sex n' Candy. Two very amazing shoes for the price of one; see them both on the Livalle blog! The Evoke boots are fitted to the regular avatar, slink physique, and belleza venus mesh bodies. Lindsey was so excited about these shoes that she went ahead and put them in the main store- so you can get a head start on the 21 goodies this month and shop today.

When I saw these Frozen inspired boots, I decided to make a modern day Elsa. This idea has been done by different SL bloggers and I have loved all the variations. Natalee Oodles (owner of Noodles) and blogger at styleminions.com did a 26 week Disneybound challenge last year that was lots of fun to view. Also,  Elvi Hartley did a Posh Princess Project last year with a series of modern day disney princesses. None of them contained Elsa because she did not exist yet. I have seen different Elsa inspired looks but they are usually traditional ones with some variation of the long blue dress. I think my modern day take on her turned out well and it was fun!

So challenge time I think! I have never tried to do my own challenge and it is a bit scary. Elsa has turned into one of my favorite princesses and she missed all the above Disney challenges because she is new. So I think she needs her own modern day challenge! Tons of people have done this challenge in real life and there are a lot of inspiration boards on polyvore that might give you some ideas.

Thank You Chadni Khondji the owner of Hopscotch. Chandi sent out slink physique updates to her Dotted stockings to everyone that had previously purchased them with slink feet appliers only. I thought this was really nice and wonderful!

I am re-buying a lot of things for my physique now because I do not take it off anymore. I have a HUGE folder of slink feet applier clothing that is pretty much useless to me now. So it was really nice and refreshing to just get an update automatically sent to me with the updated applier, for free, because I already bought the product.

I just wanted to post my sincere appreciation! I went to the store and bought another pack of stockings (the dark dot ones) because a store with that kind of customer service (free updates on purchased products) makes me want to spend my lindens with confidence that I am a valued customer and can use their products for a long time even when I update my SL!


I also have to say that I adore these Secret Store pink unicorn shoes I got doing TAG Gacha. They are dotty too and look so cute with my dotted stockings! Pink polka dots make a very very happy Kirsten!
