Collabor88's theme this month is Whispers in the Dark and there are lots of things that go with that mood. However, I am super glad a few of the designers (dust bunny and vespertine) were focused on the fact that November contains Thanksgiving and provided us with yummy food for the occasion. My family and I are going to celebrate Thanksgiving in SL next Monday. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving in SL? If you do, please let me know how and what your traditions are in the comments because I have not celebrated this holiday online very often and need some ideas. I mean how much time can fake food eating take?

Blueberry is releasing some gorgeous outfits this month. Before this dress, the Daisy jumpsuit was released. Now this gorgeous bodysuit with a long wrap skirt, Berrydoll, has just been released in the store. I am wearing one of the exclusive fatpack only floral patterns above (love!!). Berrydoll is pretty special and comes with a short, long, lace, and solid (shown) version in every purchase, wow! And to overwhelm us with the gorgeousness, Blue is already teasing us with a WIP of the next release, which also looks amazing. I am already drooling over that wrap top and big bow in the back. I have a fun Boho look today. Neve just released the Dolores dress and I am showing the Layers texture which I think is very boho. As usual you get 4 colors of this texture via HUD in your single Neve purchase. I paired my dress with a headpiece and necklace from Eudora 3D that you can find at We <3 Roleplay. They could definitely be used in fantasy outfits, but I am really loving this touch to my boho look today. My hair is the other new Exile hair that you can find in the gacha machine at The Epiphany. I showed Fall yesterday and this is Spring which is a long and loose hair style.

Howdy! Ducknipple just released some outfits and shoes under their 20FIVE label and I really love this Perry dress. The design on the top made me think western and then I thought how cute would this dress be with a cowgirl hat and boots. Perry is available in fitmesh for Physique, Maitreya, Belleza, and Standard Sizes. It comes with a five texture change hud and the dress and embellishments both change in each texture. Check this dress out in the main Ducknipple store.

Ok so let's talk about Western Wear in SL. My Truth hair with a cowgirl hat is outdated because it was before boob hair was a thing so it goes into my boob (which makes me sad because I love the hat). Someone (Hey Truth) please make updated cowgirl hat/hair with fitmesh hair, pretty please. Then cowgirl boots. I looked everywhere for updated original mesh ones and I can't find any on the grid. My last favorite pair of cowgirl boots were sculpt ones from J's. My boots are cute, but they are from templates and were part of a Sn@tch fishing outfit. I really loved my J's boots because they had a girly heel, very cowgirl. Someone please make some updated original mesh girly cowgirl boots with a girly heel that are fitmesh to my favorite mesh bodies!

I saw this dress on flickr and knew that I would have to get it and make a picture. It is so stunning. Plus I am addicted to fitmesh formals. Just Because released this at the current round of uber. I paired it with a new enVOGUE updo that was just released in the main store. I also added a new Just Magnetized hairbase that is an exclusive release at Skin Fair 2016. There are four hairbase appliers made for Catwa at the event. I am horrible with hairbases for blond hair and I thought it was just hard, but nope I just did not know how to do it. The owner of Just Magnetized, Justyna Magne, literally spent about an hour training me to tint this hairbase and it looks incredible. I am so thankful and I will share her Pro hairbase tips later in this post.

Tinting a Hairbase Tips (especially for blond/light hair):

1) Use AnaLutetia AvatarOpt2 whiter Windlight setting

2) Turn off Atmospheric Shaders

3) Wear a hair with roots

4) Apply your hair base to your mesh head

5) Use tinting HUD that comes with your mesh head to tint and match to the roots of your hair

I was so into my fashion and amazing hair base that matches my hair, I forgot to mention this picture place. If you like the movie, Casablanca, you really need to visit. It has lots of places (including the plane area) from the movie.

The Sabrina necklace was just released in 5 stones/metal combinations at We <3 Roleplay. The Morgana earrings are at Cosmopolitan and you can find the bracelets at the main Kunglers store. Apple May Designs just released these fringy strappy heels at the current round of shiny shabby. My dress is a new release from Ducknipple which also just released four outfits and one pair of wedges at their mainstore. Mesh Body Addicts is going strong and the goodies abound. My Kaithleen's dress and WoW Skins Catwa applier are both new releases at the event. I love this frilly, soft flowing dress. It feels romantic. This dress comes in fitmesh for both Slinks, Maitreya, and Belleza mesh bodies. My skin applier is beautiful, but it only comes with one eyebrow color (brown). So I went brunette, but I am really a blond and I prefer options so I can wear my favorite tresses. This applier is a natural base skin that would be perfect for add-on makeups. The appliers for WoW skins have been updated to 2016 versions and I really like the changes.

My Livalle heels are GLITTER! I really love the glittery texture on these shoes. You can find these in a variety of glitter options at the SaNaRae event. The red ones make me think of clicking my heels three time and saying, "there's no place like home." SaNaRae ends January 18th- so make sure you get your glitter on before then. This new Magika hair is simply stunning. I love the big curls and the braided bun. Beautiful!

Ducknipple has two exclusive outfits at the event and I really like them both. At only 149L each for a full outfit, they are really affordable deals as well.

Both of these outfits have Demos so you can try them on for yourself. Here are the details:

Cae is at Winter Gacha with this adorable charm bracelet. The base bracelet is free and then there are 10 charms to collect (1 Rare). You simply add them to your bracelet via HUD and you need to keep the HUD so you can adjust the charms metal and stones. Last winter the Snowflake necklace and ring that I am wearing were in a Gacha machine and now you can play for them in the main Cae store. I think they coordinate well with this new charm bracelet! My adorable hair with a cat ear hat by Doe is also at Winter Gacha.

Ricielli is having a big Christmas Hunt. Each item is only 15L and most of them contain a fitmesh version of the design. My outfit is fitmesh and materials enabled. Pick it up and a bunch of other goodies in the Ricielli Christmas hunt.

Have you been collecting the Milk Motion Lili Doll furniture sets that have been at the last three rounds of Arcade? I think the furniture is adorable and could be used in the Rare doll house or any house that you want a girly touch. This cute bathroom is at the current round of Arcade and I adore every piece! With only 12 to collect, you have pretty good odds of getting the rare bathtub too.
I have been having my usual fun the last two days at Arcade and am working on all the things on my wish list. I have my extras and duplicates on my marketplace store, Kirsten's Gacha Garden. If you still can't get into Arcade, check out my online yard sale. My items are going fast, but I will be adding items throughout the week as I fill my wish list.

My Apple May Designs silk shorts and top are new at shiny shabby and I think the shiny texture on this set is so well done. It is made in fitmesh for Maitreya, Belleza, and Physique as well as standard sizes. I am really partial to this Pale Pink almost opalescent texture, but you can find this design available in 5 pretty textures at the event.

My Doe hair has two cute braids and is available at the current round of The Fantasy Collective.

This is all the same exact dress above. I just showed it with different color lights shining on it so you can see the variety and shine of the materials texture. I blogged the new store Goji, HERE, and I focused on the various fitmesh sizes and HUD options available. This post is all about the AMAZING textures of the dresses at Goji. I really can't do them justice in static pictures so you need to go try a demo to see them moving in world. Make sure you have local lights enabled, all your shaders on, a pretty, clear windlight, and are either outside (for the sun) or have lots of lights around you (like in a club) so that you can see the textures correctly. When you go visit the new store, join the VIP group for free and get a free dress while you are there. You earn 5% loyalty credit on every purchase when you wear your VIP group tag too.

I have been playing with my new LOGO Chloe mesh head. I found some Omega makeup at Alaska Metro that works really well with the head (you can try demos). I am wearing glitter eyeshadow and lipstain listick, fun! I am wearing two Omega makeup layers, just make copies and add as many appliers as you want and then wear them. I also bought the Expressions HUD 2 and installed it into my main hud (super easy). Now I have 24 eyes, and 24 mouth expressions that I can mix n' match to make tons of expressions. I am really having a lot of fun with that part! There is even another 12 pack add on that you can buy too.

My pretty updo is new by enVOGUE at the current round of My Attic. It is only 95L until tomorrow November 30th. Make sure to stop by there and get it while it is at that great low price.

Mesh Body Addicts Bi-Monthly has been a wonderful event. There was so much excellent original design fitmesh. I wanted to show it all, but there was just so much! Today I am wearing a ViSion top and Asolut Vendetta skirt- both original fitmesh at Mesh Body Addicts. My Doe hair is new and available at the current round of The Chapter Four. I am using the two-tone version and my right side is colored with the Candy HUD and my left is colored with the Colors HUD. You can mix n' match the different HUDs on the two sided version of the hair when you get the fatpack- something that is a lot of fun to play with! My earrings were at TDR Fusion's last round, but I think they should be at the main Kunglers' store soon. It is a great idea to pick up Kunglers items at TDR because they are a really great deal during the duration of the event.

The name of this post comes from the name of my top, skirt, and shoes. I put it all together and I thought it sounded kinda cool. Sometimes blog post names come really easy to me and sometimes not. My crop top with an optional undershirt is new by Blueberry. If you get the fatpack you can mix n' match all of the Blueberry colors with the undershirt and crop like I have done above. I am also showing this shirt two ways in this post- more modest with the undershirt above and the slight underboob action of the crop top by itself below. I don't like to say a lot about stuff like this but I was chosen as an official Blueberry blogger and I am over the moon ecstatic about that! Thank you Blueberry! <3 Kirsten

My Cae four strand necklace is new at faMESHed this month. You can turn the four strands on and off independently via HUD. The first and second strand have color changing gems and the third strand (with the feather) has color changing stones. The metal can be changed to gold, silver, or bronze as well.
