I don't think those are happening anymore and I totally miss them. If I was going to prom inside SL, I would look no further than Just Because. It is crunch time- only two days til Halloween! I could spend a lot of time taking theme photos and maybe only get one costume idea blogged, OR I can take my time putting together costumes and showing them simply as I tell you how I made them in detail. I chose the latter. I hope these inspire you as you decide what you want to be for Halloween and buy your costume for this year. Happy Halloween!

First, Reign is at Epiphany with the Wild Thing Gacha. I am wearing one of the RARE unicorns, but this machine has 13 different costumes and three different kind of monster feet too. You could be a mouse, deer, bunny- just to name a few. Try your luck at this gacha machine because this is a seriously cute, fun costume!

Next, Looking for something a little more sexy? Kaithleen's has a new Cat costume at their main store. I paired it with some other cat inspired favorites. Meow!

Looking for something a little more dark and scary? My Black Widow has you covered. Just Because just released this three tiered dress and I love it! It is another collaboration between the designer and her teenage daughter. What I think is really cool about this dress is when you buy a single color, that will be the top part (the lightest part in my picture) and then the rest is multiple texture change via HUD which means you can customize this dress by making the lace, bottom skirt, and bands whatever colors you want. I went with blues, mints, and turquoises- pulling the colors out of my new jeweled Kunglers bracelets that are at Cosmopolitan. My lace-wrapped heels are new by Essenz at Thereafter and my hair is new by enVOGUE at their main store.

Another wonderful round of Mesh Body Addicts just opened up yesterday! I was trying to get this post out last night- and fell asleep, so I am pretending like I did and it's still Friday to me! There are of course lots of gorgeous original mesh designs in this event, but I wanted to highlight some of the amazing fetish fashion that I found first! Kaithleen's made one of my favorite latex dresses to date. The mesh is gorgeous and the latex texture is so well done and shiny. I love the ruffle on top with the slight peek-a-boo of underboob. If you buy the fatpack of this design, you get a bonus see through sheer latex pack as well! In the middle I am showing the corset dress from Cute or Die (CoD). The back is an intricate lace up design that flows out to a two tiered flouncy almost tutu like skirt. If you get the fatpack of this design (which is really a great deal under 600L), you can change the parts of the design separately and mix n' match the colors. On the far right, I am showing the sYs Barona Corset dress that consists of a heavily front buckled corset with lots of rivets and great details. On both the far left and middle, I am wearing the exclusive KC Couture Vivian Heels that you can also find at Mesh Body Addicts as well as the exclusive WoW skin, Giulia. The skin is designed for Bento Catwa heads, but I am wearing it on Catwa Destiny and I think it looks gorgeous on that head as well.

I have a few new releases that I am in love with in this post. My new Truth hair, Kunglers necklace, and Pink Fuel makeup- all of which I adore. First this wispy, wavy casual updo was just released in the main Truth store. It is kind of a low bun in the back with wispy attachments that you can add as well. Then Kunglers just released these long chunky bead necklaces with a rose accent stone at Shiny Shabby. The Adele necklace comes in four stone/gem texture options. Finally, Pink Fuel just released some new makeup.

The new lips are really made specifically for a Catwa Bento head. They are called "Lip tints" and with a Bento head you can really get some cool new two layer uses out of these lipsticks. I still don't have a bento head so I can't try out the bento version, but the non-bento version of pre-set lip tints are soooo gorgeous. I love them all. They look amazing and are my new favorite lip set! Mochi made a tutorial video detailing how to use these lip tints with and without a Bento head, HERE.

This design comes in a variety of colors including some pretty ombre skirts. I am also wearing a new jewelry set from Cae that you can find at The Season's Story and Wasabi Pills hair at The Chapter Four. The hair is gacha and the Basics pack is the Rare in the machine. I love that pack because it contains my favorite blonde and it also has all the other essentials and some other unnatural colors too. Try your luck!

I found a cute new little sim that is dedicated to art and books and that is where I am taking my pictures today. Art and Letters is a literary salon that hosts open mics, readings, discussions, and workshops. They invite you to relax and enjoy the property while mingling with bright and curious minds. All are welcome (although it is only for 18+ adult avatars)! There is a free in-world group that you can join so you know when events are happening. I don't have any group space though which bummed me. I wish they had a subscribo or something.

Collabor88 opened yesterday and Exile is there with two new hairstyles. I am wearing the style, Reveling In You. Also in my close up shot you can see new Cae jewelry and Kaithleen's cosmetic enhancements for Catwa. My necklace is part of a set that was released at faMESHed June, Nova. My Bracelets have empowering messages on them. I love these! I am wearing the "Love" set and the messages are: I love you to the moon and back, You are my sunshine, forever friends, forever family, live laugh love. You can also find Peace, Life, and Strength messages. I love these simple bangles with words. Kaithleen's released some blush-freckle combos recently (at another event and they should be in the main store now) and this lip gloss is at Tropical Summer Fair. They are both made for Catwa heads.

This perfect for summer T-shirt dress was recently released by Just Because in their main store. I love the tie detail on the right side and the wrinkles/folds in the fabric. The texture looks just like t-shirt material and has great realistic details.

My first pose is from Exposeur, which is one of my favorite pose stores. Exposeur is closing (sadface). I am so sad! You can find the first pose as well as tons more in a Final Closing Sale through June 30th. Everything is 80% off making pose sets and couple poses 35L each. It is definitely time to go stock up!

Meow! My dress was a new release at Blueberry a few releases ago. If you buy the fatpack you get this special texture that says, "I want it RIGHT MEOW." It is totally cute any only available for fatpack owners! I loved this dress but had not found all the pieces for the look I wanted for it until recently. I knew that I would have to totally "cat out" and I wanted whiskers for my mesh face. With all of the cat inspired items at Epiphany this round my total complete cat look finally came together. My picture features the brand new- KittyCatS! - FairieCat that is for RFL at Fantasy Faire 2016.

I am showing them in bronze to coordinate with the metal on my FDD Stories Rare corset. This outfit was at last month's fantasy gacha carnival. It was a must have on my list and I meant to blog it but somehow it didn't happen during the gacha event. This is all the same exact dress above. I just showed it with different color lights shining on it so you can see the variety and shine of the materials texture. I blogged the new store Goji, HERE, and I focused on the various fitmesh sizes and HUD options available. This post is all about the AMAZING textures of the dresses at Goji. I really can't do them justice in static pictures so you need to go try a demo to see them moving in world. Make sure you have local lights enabled, all your shaders on, a pretty, clear windlight, and are either outside (for the sun) or have lots of lights around you (like in a club) so that you can see the textures correctly. When you go visit the new store, join the VIP group for free and get a free dress while you are there. You earn 5% loyalty credit on every purchase when you wear your VIP group tag too.

I have been playing with my new LOGO Chloe mesh head. I found some Omega makeup at Alaska Metro that works really well with the head (you can try demos). I am wearing glitter eyeshadow and lipstain listick, fun! I am wearing two Omega makeup layers, just make copies and add as many appliers as you want and then wear them. I also bought the Expressions HUD 2 and installed it into my main hud (super easy). Now I have 24 eyes, and 24 mouth expressions that I can mix n' match to make tons of expressions. I am really having a lot of fun with that part! There is even another 12 pack add on that you can buy too.

My pretty updo is new by enVOGUE at the current round of My Attic. It is only 95L until tomorrow November 30th. Make sure to stop by there and get it while it is at that great low price.
