Tango is a dance of passion, sensuality, nostalgia, and melancholy that originated in Argentina and yet attracts thousands of people from all over the world. He is such a good man and if I tell him I like something, he usually goes and buys it. Today, I am showing the new Gage 3 piece Tuxedo and Suit from Lapointe and Bastchild. Hiram and I celebrated 14 years together November 16th. That is a crazy long time. Someone on plurk said it was like 100 RL years, lol. I think it would be hard to find anyone else together online for that long. Through everything, Hiram is my best friend and I can't imagine my life without him. He is so smart, creative, and talented. He challenges me and keeps me interested. He is silly and fun (something I need because I am serious, focused, and driven). He balances me out and is the yang to my yin. Peas and carrots. Peanut Butter n' jelly. Hiram and Kirsten.

Happy 14 Years, Timothy! Thank you for making them wonderful.

Last night was the Blithe Prom. This has been an annual event for years (although it used to be called Pixel Prom- cause the group was The Pixel Bean) and it is always a wonderful time. Blithe is an adult social group that gets together and has fun events owned by Harlow Heslop. Hiram and I had a wonderful time. I of course stressed over what to wear all day, lol. You can see my "Prom plurk stress mess" in this plurk. I also took a bunch of low resolution (just for fun) screenshots while I was at prom. There were 102 people at prom and there was no way in that kind of lag that I could have taken real high resolution shots. You can see all of my fun snaps, in this plurk. Hiram and I went to the beach today! We needed some new swimsuits and since we are both wearing mesh bodies, we wanted them fitmesh to our Slink Physique bodies. My suit was just released yesterday at uber by Just Because. It comes with a color change HUD to control the strings, metals, and beads- so you can customize this suit a lot. Hiram's favorite color is blue and it matches my eyes too- so I decided on this beautiful ocean blue color. I added some simple gold jewelry that was just released by Cae at The Fantasy Collective. It has adorable birdies on it which is perfect for Spring! My hair is a new release by enVOGUE in the main store. I am wearing the fitmesh size of this hair. I love fitmesh hair because it is not too big or too small for my boobs. More and more hair designers (Doe, Clawtooth, enVOGUE) are starting to make fitmesh hair and I love this growing trend!

Hiram's swim trunks were just released by Apple May Designs and come with a fitmesh for Slink Physique Male size. I REALLY hope more designers continue to include this mesh body along with other mesh bodies that they make clothing for (TMP and Asthetic). I love the way this body looks on Hiram. It is fitmesh so you can make it your own with your shape.

Hiram went on a fishing trip and I decided that while he was away it was time for a Makeover! I love Makeovers! Totally changing someone's look is fun, especially when I have complete control over all aspects. I enjoy that immensely! I started with a mesh head. I looked at mesh heads from many designers (Catwa, LOGO, Akeruka, Samurai, Labyrinth), and I decided on Catwa Jackson. I really like this head the best and I trust this brand since my favorite head is Catwa Jessica. So I guess it will be Jessica and Jackson for Kirsten and Hiram! Then of course finding a skin that you like on your head is the next challenge. Catwa has a nice list of male mesh head appliers. After trying them all on, I decided on a skin applier by L'Etre Skin Shop. I updated his IKON eyes and headed to Deadwool to get a new outfit and shoes. I had so much fun and I think my man looks amazing! Hiram, Thank you for your complete and total trust, as always, mine.

I adore the animations that come with Catwa Jackson, especially this slightly off center smile. Also, look closely at the skin texture that is possible on this mesh head! Wow! The high resolution texture is stunning.

I feel like I have been waiting on the male version of Slink Physique for Hiram forever. I think that is mainly because I wanted him to have it so badly! We went and bought it on it's release day, but then had to wait for skin makers to start making appliers, lol, because neither of us can be bothered to tint the old fashioned way (although you CAN if you want to with this body). As of today I know of these (regular, human) skinners making appliers for Slink and/or Omega that will work with the body: Adam N Eve, Birth, Navaro, 7 Deadly Skins, and Tableau Vivant. One of Hiram's favorite skins, Hermony, suddenly closed- without much notice or warning to it's skin customers. It was a shock to us when we went to look for a Slink applier and the store was gone. I think it was a very poor business decision on the creator's part because I really think he would be selling tons of appliers and skins this week with the release of the Slink male body.

I really love the shape of the Slink Male body and the smooth edges and curves. It is so nice to have Hiram in a mesh body too. The one difficulty we have found so far is that his clothing is not fitting his new body very well. I was really surprised by that because when I first bought my slink physique I was able to wear pretty much all of my clothing with alphas and an occasional slight shape tweak. Hiram's clothing is not fitting so significantly that a shape tweak won't be enough. The waist area of all his pants is way to huge and trying to adjust his shape is not working. Also his shoulder and neck area is not working with clothing well either. So far, we have had little luck getting his previous standard size clothing to fit. The pants he has on (in the first picture) are brand new fitmesh made specifically for the Slink body from Lapointe and Bastchild. They work really well with the body and we can't wait for more designers to make more fitmesh for Slink too. Hiram, in his usual amazing self while taking everything in stride, said, "Time to get a whole new wardrobe."

Slink Physique Male Tips:

Make your body fat zero (or no more than 5) and use width and individual muscles to bulk up instead
Get your Slink feet and hands redelivered (or buy them) so that they work with Omega and this body best.
Wear the XS hands and the Physique labeled feet
Join the Omega group (free to join) and you can get the Slink relay HUD for only 1L in world
When you use the Omega Hud, click the Omega Hud first, then click whatever applier you are using (definitely needed the very first time you use omega on a body part).
When you apply clothing or tattoos, you have to turn on the clothing or tattoo layers in the Physique HUD.

You can see all three in this post because I really like these cute romantic picnic poses and I wanted to take pictures with Hiram and his sexy new mesh body (woohoo). So this picture- I wanted to show these new male Cold Ash jeans and the back corset design on the new DE Designs dress and to show these new original mesh Maai boots in a sexy way and this picture just happened. The other thing about all of those items is that they are all Fitted Mesh. I did not have a lot of luck with fitted mesh and the normal avatar body- it was something strange around the hip area all the time. However, I love all the fitted mesh that I have tried for my new mesh bodies. How about you?

I made this picture to show the fitted mesh with my different bodies and different shapes. I think it is so cool how the fitted mesh adjusts to whatever shape I have on and I can wear mesh with a curvier shape with ease. The DE Designs Lilith dress is made fitted to the regular avatar, Slink Physique, Belleza Venus (regular and push up), and Maitreya Lara. My new original mesh Maai thigh high boots are made with rigged mesh standard sizes, fitted mesh to the regular avatar, Slink Physique, Belleza Venus, Maitreya Lara, and The Mesh Project.

If you have yet to try and explore fitted mesh, I encourage you to break away from your standard size rigged mesh and try some fitted mesh today. I personally have had excellent luck with items fitted to specific mesh bodies.

Have you tried the new mesh hair from Blueberry? They have about six styles so far and I really like them and I love the textures. They sell their hair a lot like Magika does with three texture HUDS so really it is like getting a fatpack of hair for a single pack price. I love that! My hair in this post is new from Blueberry called Alessa.

Strawberry challenged us to find a well dressed stranger and take their picture. I must admit that I was not planning on participating in this one cause awkward! I am pretty outgoing and an extrovert though so it was not actually that difficult when I spotted my ~~prey~~ subject. I also was thinking about getting some more male fashion on my blog. So please meet Tyderius Serevi.

I was going to OMG Gacha to feed by Gacha crack addiction when I spotted an adorable suit and wing tip shoes. I had not even been thinking about the challenge, but I knew instantly that I was about to try and make a total idiot of myself.

Wow that was not hard at all! In fact Tyderius never did ask me WHY I wanted to take his picture. Maybe he is used to girls asking to take his picture! I just snapped him as he moved about in the animated stands in his AO. I also thought doing that would be hard, but it was not as bad as I thought either. I tried to get all of his outfit information. However, Tyderius did not know how to get his outfit information out of Firestorm and since I use the regular SL viewer I was no help at all. So I inspected his shoes and hair and asked about his suit and skin. That will have to do!

Kirsten Corleone: Oh yes and one last question, the one all of my female fashion blog readers will want to know: Are you single?

So he is not single ladies, sorry, but then again would we really expect an avatar that looks like this to be single. In my experience behind most hot men with fashion sense is a woman that helped them get there or at least urged them in that direction.

Hi, this is me, Kirsten. I don't look like myself today? Well that is because I am blogging my other half and getting a little bit of male fashion on my blog today. Hiram has been wearing the same skin for at least the last two years. It is a good skin but was starting to look dated. He has been looking for a skin that did not look too girly AND has hand and feet appliers for Slink for at least six months without any luck at all. We were both really happy when he tried on the new skin from Hermony at the current round of The Men's Department. We both really liked it a lot- so now he finally has a new skin. This is Hermony Symon and it comes with some chest hair tattoos, stubble, and pubic hair as well as a hairbase version skin. It has slink hand and feet appliers available separately. I like it. It is a manly skin and meets all of both our requirements for a new male skin. Yay!

Hiram also picked up a new jacket/shirt combo and new shoes at TMD. Hiram is a manly man. He will not wear saggy crotch and flat butt pants of any kind. He won't wear trendy items that look like they are made for teenagers. He wants normal manly looking items that fit his body like men's clothes should. That is all ok with me because I feel exactly the same. I hate saggy crotch and flat bottom items for any gender. So it is often hard to find things he likes. He does like to look and shop though, so that's a plus in my book. He picked up this Cold Ash jacket and L. Warwick shoes at TMD.

I really love The Men's Department monthly event. I always find something there that I want for myself whether its poses or decor....

I really love The Men's Department monthly event. I always find something there that I want for myself whether its poses or decor. Plus it has the greatest deals for men with lots of high quality content. We are going to show you the two poses made as a collaboration by Consignment & !bang that you can find this month. Both are just adorable couple poses. This first one, sweet nothings, contains 6 sayings and as you can see I added some of my own text in photoshop to personalize it just for us.

Well I know in my case its definitely true that we are better together. I am kind of a handful though so he might be ok by himself but please don't ever tell him that! *wink* Seriously though, people that have known us since 2002 and 2006 say that we were just meant to be together. We are peas n' carrots.

Hiram is wearing a suit by epia that is also available at The Men's Dept. He will be wearing both the blue and gray variations on this pinstripe classic in this post. It is a really well made mesh suit and I think every man in SL needs one (or two). My dress is by Rebel Hope and can be found at this month's round of faMESHed.

ISON has a lot of great releases out and about on the grid for both the girls and the boys. My new Ison dress can be found at collabor88 January and Hiram's new Ison hoodie can be found at this round of The Men's Department. The hoodie comes with a T-shirt that changes into 16 textures via HUD.

How cute are these couple poses in this blog post? They are both new releases from oOo Studio at The Men's Department.

Hiram is also wearing the new Tableau Vivant skin, that can be found at The Men's Department and I have to say that I really love the definition on the abs and the obliques. The skin is a little bit lighter than he likes to wear normally and only came in one skin tone at the event. I hope it comes in a full range and a little bit darker in the main store sometime soon because not only do I love the definition; I think it looks really cute on his face too.

Hiram's jeans are brand new from Lapointe and Bastchild and he decided to fatpack this release because he tries on jeans and has trouble finding ones he likes as much as his L&Bs. He won't wear the ones that are saggy and he likes it to have a round natural butt (ok maybe I am the one that loves the L&B butt). The fatpack comes with a texture change HUD so you can wear one size and then just change the jeans into 10 different textures. I really think the fatpack is an amazing deal at only 799L!

The enterprising Harlow Heslop hosted a winter formal at the Coffee Bean last night and Hiram and I attended. We had a ton of fun and it was nice to see all my plurk friends in pixels. Everyone looked gorgeous and of course this post is about our winter formal fashion. You had to wear white, black, gold, or silver. I chose a mesh gown with flexi attached made by Danielle. In my opinion this dress is expensive, but I fell in love with it and have been wanting it since I saw it and my sweetie Hiram bought it for me. Now that I have worn it, it is pricey, but I think it is worth the price because this is a gorgeous dress. The texture work is really beautiful.
