Valentine's Day Weekend is just two weeks away. If you have formal date plans, then I have a dress for you. The Aleutia Aurora Gown is at the current round of Uber. It has a plunge neckline and a glitter overlay skirt that will have you sparkling all over the dance floor. I really love the glitter overlay skirt! Sparkles make me happy. This is a low resolution gif just to show the sparkles because pictures don't do them justice, but you really need to see them in world to see how cool they are. 

The individual colors have a bow HUD that lets you change the bow into different colors. I chose white to go with my red dress for Valentine fun. My hair is the FREE VIP Group Gift hair at Truth. It is a gorgeous updo with curls and fairy lights- that I think is just perfect for a Valentine date.

        Truth VIP members got a great gift recently, this hair with bat headband. I have said this before and I will say it again- Pay to be in the Truth VIP group- it is sooo worth it!         Speaking of Lelutka, I have been playing with my new head that I got mostly so I can blog items made only for that head and I am finally starting to feel more like me. I don't think I am done tweaking the shape, something about the eye/nose area still needs something that I have not figured out yet. When I first got my Catwa bento head, I spent a good two weeks tweaking the shape til it felt like me and I am sure I am giong to do that with this head also. I am wearing a new Amara Beauty skin for Lelutka that was released at The Season's Story and my makeup (lipstick/ eyeliner) is inside the Pink Fuel Kiera skin.

        This round of Uber is crazy good. I pretty much want everything there, as usual. Today I am wearing the exclusive releases from Gos, Wasabi, and Cae that can all be found at Uber. If you are having trouble getting into the event, remember there is a Cam sim. Alternatively, if you are a premium member you usually get right into packed events on the first day. I have been thinking about joining just for that one reason. Go to Uber and get your shop on until June 23rd.

        There is a new cosmetic shopping HUD, Lookbook, that is full of makeup, eyes, eyelashes, and a few skins- basically everything that is in Powder Pack. With Lookbook you get a HUD and you can try the demos and buy what you like all from the comfort of your home or platform inside SL. It is something between Pocket Gacha and Powder Pack- all the goodies in the latter and none of the gachas in the former. I really enjoyed my first try with this new shopping experience, although I would have liked demos with all products and not just most of them. I personally am only going to buy cosmetics that I can demo first. Demos are all designer choice though and not the new HUD event side. So designers- Demos please! You can get your Lookbook HUD from Marketplace and try out the cosmetics inside. My Luxrebel lipstick is new from Lookbook.

        Blueberry just released this long, flowy skirt and bandeau top. I love the 21 skirt patterns available. This set also comes in 29 solid color options. Each purchase of the skirt comes with a long skirt (shown) and short skirt, and the tops come with an off shoulder or sleeveless version of the top. You can find the Blueberry Catrine set in the main store. My short braided piggy tail hairstyle is new by Doe at the current round of The Fantasy Collective. My circular/ hoop jewelry set that just goes perfectly with this aesthetic is new by Cae at the current round of Cosmopolitan.         I want to direct your attention to Shiny Shabby. We are in the last week of this event (ends Feb 15th) so you need to make plans to get over there and make your final purchases. I think this Kaithleen's cropped, padded jacket and Essenz shoes with a little bit of a fishnet detail combined with a wrap around ribbon should be on your "need to go get" this week list.

        My hair is new by eXxEsS, which is a new to me store. I love this short, choppy style and I am always happy when I find a blond color that I really like at a new hair store. I got a gift card to this hair store from my little girl, Cindy Lu. You actually get a static version and then a Breeze version of the hair that moves slightly as if a gentle breeze just passed by. I also liked that the hair is sold is large color fatpacks. You get a lot of hair for your money. There were a lot of cute hairstyles so if you have not heard of this hair store, go visit.

        7 years ago today, I posted my very first blog post. You can see it here -->, February 4, 2011, Photon Pink. (no laughing, I had no idea what I was doing, lol) I have officially been blogging for 7 years now. Happy 7 years, Kirstentacular! What has kept me going?         While I was on vacation, Blueberry released the Zuzu set in the main store. I put on the dress and then I put on the knotted top and like magic the top of the dress instantly hid. I thought that was so cool! I did not even have to hit anything in the HUD. This collection has a mini dress (which is cute by itself too), knotted tops, fishnets, and boots available for separate purchases.         This week was hard and I am ready for my weekend. Going back to work after a 2 week vacation is always hard.
