I went to a beach party today in SL. It was fun! So that got me in the "beach" mood and thus my picture tonight. enVOGUE just released hairbases for Catwa. I love when hair stores put out hairbases because then the colors match the hair perfectly without having to tint! You can find the new hairbases in the main enVOGUE store. Kunglers has released some gorgeous new jewelry lately (as usual). My Ticiane earrings are new at the current round of On9 and the Elaine necklace is new at The Crossroads.

Hiram went on a fishing trip and I decided that while he was away it was time for a Makeover! I love Makeovers! Totally changing someone's look is fun, especially when I have complete control over all aspects. I enjoy that immensely! I started with a mesh head. I looked at mesh heads from many designers (Catwa, LOGO, Akeruka, Samurai, Labyrinth), and I decided on Catwa Jackson. I really like this head the best and I trust this brand since my favorite head is Catwa Jessica. So I guess it will be Jessica and Jackson for Kirsten and Hiram! Then of course finding a skin that you like on your head is the next challenge. Catwa has a nice list of male mesh head appliers. After trying them all on, I decided on a skin applier by L'Etre Skin Shop. I updated his IKON eyes and headed to Deadwool to get a new outfit and shoes. I had so much fun and I think my man looks amazing! Hiram, Thank you for your complete and total trust, as always, mine.

I adore the animations that come with Catwa Jackson, especially this slightly off center smile. Also, look closely at the skin texture that is possible on this mesh head! Wow! The high resolution texture is stunning.

I have tried a bunch of mesh heads and they never felt like me. From the moment I tried on the new Catwa Jessica mesh head, it felt like me. I have always said that I would not buy a mesh head until it had normal (not downturned or oddly shaped) lips and expressions. I found both of those and so much more in the new Catwa Jessica Mesh Head. I love it! I made a video showing this head and have more pictures to include in this blog post as well. I hope you enjoy watching/ looking at them. Here is a collage I made with all of the cute expressions that come with this head.

So cute! I also played with the makeup layers in the WoW head applier that I am wearing as well as some of the included eyeliner in the Catwa Hud so you can see both the expression and some makeup variation that is available in this mesh head. Next, I am going to add my video of the Catwa Jessica Mesh Head Review.

This alterego collage really shows how you can make this head your own with the addition of your favorite skin applier. A skin applier can really change the look of the head. So far alterego has made this applier in caramel and also in the powder skin tone. I am hoping for a honey skin tone applier soon (since that is my favorite alterego skin tone).

Here is my full body look for today. I am wearing the new Neve embrace dress that is part of the Mix event this month. This dress comes in four diffenent texture options and each one comes with a four texture change hud as well. I show that in my video after the Catwa head review. My shoes are new by Livalle at the SaNaRae event. These high wedges are available in 11 colors. You can see these in my video as well and a close up of some of the features like the materials enabled textures.

Well, I am officially mesh from head to toe now! I have heard that Pink Fuel will be releasing appliers this weekend, although I have not seen them yet- just some tempting teaser pictures in plurk so far. It is on the LOGO mesh head in those plurk pictures, but I really hope it will be Omega compatible so I can wear it with my Catwa head too. I can't wait to get a pink fuel skin on this head! I want a Glam Affair one too! I am Catwa head/ skin crazy right now,lol. Seriously though skin makers- make Omega head appliers. Both Catwa and Logo are now Omega compatible.

So I was ecstatic when I realized Maai put their original mesh talents to lingerie. The Maai Lui set consists of a fitmesh corset and fitmesh panties with fitmesh sizes for Slink and Maitreya. I am wearing mine on my Slink Physique and due to the mesh designer kit provided by Slink- it fits perfectly. I don't even need any alphas. Maitreya fitmesh is experimental so make sure to try a demo with that body for sure. You can find this new set, which is available in 9 colors, in the main Maai store.

I feel like I have been waiting on the male version of Slink Physique for Hiram forever. I think that is mainly because I wanted him to have it so badly! We went and bought it on it's release day, but then had to wait for skin makers to start making appliers, lol, because neither of us can be bothered to tint the old fashioned way (although you CAN if you want to with this body). As of today I know of these (regular, human) skinners making appliers for Slink and/or Omega that will work with the body: Adam N Eve, Birth, Navaro, 7 Deadly Skins, and Tableau Vivant. One of Hiram's favorite skins, Hermony, suddenly closed- without much notice or warning to it's skin customers. It was a shock to us when we went to look for a Slink applier and the store was gone. I think it was a very poor business decision on the creator's part because I really think he would be selling tons of appliers and skins this week with the release of the Slink male body.

I really love the shape of the Slink Male body and the smooth edges and curves. It is so nice to have Hiram in a mesh body too. The one difficulty we have found so far is that his clothing is not fitting his new body very well. I was really surprised by that because when I first bought my slink physique I was able to wear pretty much all of my clothing with alphas and an occasional slight shape tweak. Hiram's clothing is not fitting so significantly that a shape tweak won't be enough. The waist area of all his pants is way to huge and trying to adjust his shape is not working. Also his shoulder and neck area is not working with clothing well either. So far, we have had little luck getting his previous standard size clothing to fit. The pants he has on (in the first picture) are brand new fitmesh made specifically for the Slink body from Lapointe and Bastchild. They work really well with the body and we can't wait for more designers to make more fitmesh for Slink too. Hiram, in his usual amazing self while taking everything in stride, said, "Time to get a whole new wardrobe."

Slink Physique Male Tips:

Make your body fat zero (or no more than 5) and use width and individual muscles to bulk up instead
Get your Slink feet and hands redelivered (or buy them) so that they work with Omega and this body best.
Wear the XS hands and the Physique labeled feet
Join the Omega group (free to join) and you can get the Slink relay HUD for only 1L in world
When you use the Omega Hud, click the Omega Hud first, then click whatever applier you are using (definitely needed the very first time you use omega on a body part).
When you apply clothing or tattoos, you have to turn on the clothing or tattoo layers in the Physique HUD.

You can see all three in this post because I really like these cute romantic picnic poses and I wanted to take pictures with Hiram and his sexy new mesh body (woohoo). My Kaithleen's dress is new and can be found in 12 colors or patterns at the 24 event. This original mesh dress comes with a fitmesh size for Maitreya and Physique mesh bodies. Apricot! Apricot! Apricot! I have been longing for a version of this skin tone to be officially released for a long time because it is my FAVORITE Pink Fuel skin tone. I love it so very much! I wore a not released version of Sora in Apricot for my wedding, but because it was not available to purchase I did not blog with it (even though I adore it and Apricot). So now I can wear Apricot in my blog posts because you can get this new skin, Morgana, at the current round of Arcade Gacha. I am so totally excited about this skin. I have so far pulled Makeup 2, 4, and 5 in the blonde eyebrows. I need all of the blonde ones- including the rare- so you will be able to find other eyebrow colors at my Arcade yard sale, Kirsten's Gacha Garden, because I plan on pulling until I get the entire set. This skin is GORGEOUS!

IKON has new eyes, Triumph. I am wearing the color Sky in this post. As usual they are bright and realistic and my favorite eyes on the grid. You can find IKON Triumph at Shiny Shabby.

My Cae jewelry set is new at faMESHed this month. The necklace has four strands that you can choose to show or hide via HUD.

I am wearing new fitmesh lingerie from Erratic. This set is made specifically for Maitreya Lara and it fits very well. I needed a few alphas for the corset, but the Maitreya alpha cuts work perfectly with the corset. This set is beautiful, although it is transparent and shows a bit more than I can show on my blog and keep it PG. I really love the back of this set that you can see in the above picture. The corset laces are so well done. I posted a NSFW picture on my flickr however to show the front of this lingerie set in close detail. You can find this lingerie set as a new release in the main Erratic store. For now, I got creative with angles and pose and made one more picture of the lingerie.

faMESHed opened today with some great items. My Cae jewelry set is really cool. It has 5 necklace strands and you can turn them on or off via HUD. A few of them have jewels and stones that you can change as well. I love that each pendant is different and unique. My Miss Chelsea fitmesh bikini is so cute and SEQUINS! I love sequins. I have trouble passing up anything with sequins, glitter, irridescent, or pink. I love the metal details on this bikini too. It is really well done. The sexy poses that make this post possible are called Beach Illustrated 2015 by NanTra and available at Designer Showcase. As you would imagine they are a set of sexy poses designed for your summer bikini picture shots and they are all great.

Here is a close up of this unique Cae necklace. I love all the pieces and parts! The other thing I wanted to talk about in this post is my fitmesh hair. Yes, hair! This hair is from DeLa at Summerfest and it comes with a fitmesh version which perfectly fit over my shape. My boobs are larger than standard sizes but not as large as Lolas so the "boob" size hair usually had quite a bit of space between my boob and the hair. However the regular size hair goes inside my boob, so often neither size fits as well as I would like. This DeLa fitmesh hair fits me perfectly and I really love the style too.

I have been having so much fun playing with Doe hair. This hair with kitty cat ears can be found at the current round of Kawaii Project. The most recent Doe releases have come with the option of wearing your hair as one color or two-toned with each side a different color. That option combined with the many color variations available as well as dipped hair, you can create some really cool combinations. Doe even has a Neon hair pack available. The right side of my head is from the colors pack and the left side of my hair is from the candy (ombre) pack. When you get multiple packs or the fatpack, you can mix and match packs on the two different sides of your hair, super fun!

Mesh Bodies have changed our second life drastically in many ways. One way is the possibility to break away from standard sizes and be the shapes we want. With applier clothing and mesh fitted to the fitted mesh avatars, the possibility to be unique in our size and shape AND still be able to wear the newest clothing has not been this possible since before mesh hit the fashion scene. I am super excited about the possibilities! I am wearing two mesh bodies: Maitreya Lara and Slink Physique: and I have made two shapes for each body that I am using regularly at least as my base shape. I still need a standard size shape because I have so much clothing only in those sizes and many designers are still only making standard sizes as well. However, I find myself wearing my curvy shapes as much as possible because I prefer them in every way. Welcome to my Digits for 2015!

So there are my digits for 2015 and how they have changed as I wear mesh bodies. Basically I had to change my digits for the different bodies to get the same look of "me" that I wanted. I am so much happier with fitted mesh bodies. It is a huge improvent over the regular avatar and also over the zero body fat and zero torso needed for Azz and Lolas (that I wore last year).

I also wanted to mention that my height is 40 on the sliders which is drastically changed from last year. My five foot four is also the height in the game just on your game window when you look at your shape and not with that ruler. It would probably be higher with the ruler, but I have always though the ruler measured too high. I finally changed from super tall and got with the times, lol.

Dabble Dooya Anastasia Lingerie on Marketplace

The lingerie that I am wearing in this post is brand new from Dabble Dooya. You get all three floral prints as well as Maitreya, Physique, and Omega appliers in your 50L purchase. The seams are beautiful (because I don't let Hiram sell them til they are and I am very picky). I had him go back and fix seams at least three or four times because I think they should be perfect and I am not happy until they are. He hand draws them including every flower petal and I think his drawing skills are just stunning. On the appliers, you get the full set, bra by itself, panties alone, garter alone, and stockings alone- all of which can be mixed and applied separately.

Questions from Berry for the 5th Digit Challenge:

1) Do you currently own a mesh body? If so, do you wear it all the time or just once in a while? I own Slink Physique and Maitreya Lara. I wear one of those all the time. I will never be in the regular system avatar nor wear system layer anything ever again.

2) What is your preferred mesh body available on the market right now? I can't pick one. I honestly love both Physique and Lara. There are things I like more and less on each of them and reasons I feel I need them both. For example, I like the torso and waist of Physique best, but I like the hips and butt of Maitreya best. Fitted mesh that is made for bodies seems to fit Physique better and so I wear that more often with fitted mesh. I believe this is because Siddean Munro (genius business woman that she is) has given actual fitted mesh developers kits to creators and it is my understanding all of the "fitted to Maitreya" is experimental and just best guesses unless you get it from Maitreya.

3) Have you changed your shape since you started wearing the body? Definitely and changed it for each body. You can go look at my Digits 4 post and compare it to this one to see the differences the mesh bodies have made specifically.

4) How do you feel about mesh bodies in general? I was asking for them about a year before the first ones were made. I think they are the best things to hit the grid. I actually PREFER the alpha cuts to using alphas that you wear as we used to do. I like it better in every possible way. The things others sometimes say are drawbacks with the bodies, I disagree with usually on every point.

5) What is the one thing you would request from designers when it comes to mesh bodies? Only one? I have a list, lol.

1. Onyx- please send out developer kits for Maitreya Lara to every designer that is making fitted mesh

2. Let's stop making standard sizes for good. I see no point in them continuing. Please make fitted mesh sizes to a few of the fitted mesh bodies. I want to see an end to standard sizes once and for all!

3. I need fitted mesh boots in every style, shape, color, and texture. I need thigh high latex (not just shiny) boots fitted to Maitreya and Physique. MORE BOOTS, ALL THE BOOTS! Please make boots that you have made exactly to the alpha cuts available on the bodies and test them with those alpha cuts before selling them.

4. All designers, make everything, clothing, shoes, boots fitted to mesh bodies. Concentrate on that and make items with the body and the body alpha cuts in mind as you design.

Kirsten's Basics 2015 (all the things I wear and might not list in my blog posts):

Hair: I thought hair changed last year. This year it seemed like almost every designer redid their hair textures and I seemed to need all the new blond textures. My list of hair stores has grown substantially since last year. Like last year all hair is now HUD based so I will include a picture of all the various HUD's and the colors I click most often. I now wear mostly Truth, Exile, ploom, Magika, Clawtooth, Tableau Vivant, lamb, and Mina.

Skin: I wear Glam Affair Jamaica, Izzie's Natural, and Pink Fuel Apricot (not released yet) the most.

Eyes: I still can't find any eyes that I like better than IKON. I try on others because I like variety and I like to shop but I never wear others for long and always go back to IKON. My favorites are Vanity Eyes- Azure, Ardent Eyes- Skyfall, and my new current favorite Sovereign Eyes- Blue.

Lashes: My favorite lashes are the same as last year, Mon Cheri Falsies. I still wear the glitter mascara the most. I wear style 2 in black glitter the most.

Shape: My shape was made by me in 2006 with tweaks over the years. See my digits above for the 2015 Kirsten shape. =)

Feet and Hands: I always wear Slink. I own almost all the hands and all three versions of slink feet. I LOVE the 2.0 update with the Hand and Feet in the same Utilities HUD and the ability to paint each nail separately. I love ALL of the slink updated items; they are so well done. I wear Slink even with other bodies and shoe systems (N-core) because I like the textures on the appliers the best.

Fitted Mesh Bodies: Last year I was wearing Lolas and Cute Azz. I am so much happier with mesh bodies. I am always wearing a mesh body of some kind. You will never see me in my blog posts as the default avatar. I am either wearing Maitreya Lara or Slink Physique.

HUDS: I usually have my screen filled with HUDS. At a minimum I have either the Maitreya Lara or Large Slink Physique HUD, the Slink Hands and Feet Utilities HUD, Anypose Basic, and my AO.

I have not blogged with Lady Ling in 9 months. You can find all the fetish fashion posts ever posted or that will be posted on kirstentacular under the label, Fetish Friday. I did a few fetish inspired posts with Kirsten, because as my readers know by now- it is all the same dominant me in real life. However, I was really missing my Domme avatar with a strong dominant square jaw uniquely beautiful to her. My hesitation has been the changing landscape of the game with mesh bodies and all of the cost and expense that goes into updating an avatar combined with a few core challenges. It has been exspensive enough to update my main avatar and I was not sure if I wanted to update my alt. I also did not want to continue to blog with a normal SL avatar because after getting used to the beautiful curves of a fitted mesh avatar- I honestly can't stand how the SL avatar looks anymore.

One of the core challenges was that my favorite skins were Belleza. That is all I wore as Ling for years, but Belleza was not making appliers for anything and for various reasons the new Belleza mesh body was not for me. So I knew that if I updated I would have to change skins and that was really hard. After trying MANY on over really the last three months, I decided to move to WoW skins. I think its very pretty on me and I like the dark tan tone a lot. Also, this being my alt avatar and not my main, WoW skins offers a lot of lower cost deals on skins often at various events further making this skin store appealing. They also make appliers for every body part I can think of.

Another aspect in updating a fetish avatar is needing the clothing designers that make fetish clothes to make appliers for whatever mesh body I chose. At first when mesh bodies came out, I could not find fetish clothing for them at all (which is why I did not update my avatar and stopped blogging with Ling initially). A few months ago I revisited this issue and spent a little time contacting all of my favorite fetish designers and asking what appliers they were making and if they intended on making any more or others as well. After contacting the fetish store owners, Omega seemed to be the overwhelming choice- either they were already making them or were planning on doing so soon.

This left me with needing to get the Maitreya body since it is compatible with the Omega system. So after much contemplation, I took the plunge and today you are seeing the new improved almost all mesh Lady Ling. It was quite expensive to update my avatar (mesh body, new skin, skin appliers, slink hand and feet appliers, etc), but the beautiful curves of the mesh body and how it looks with latex applied to it is making me super happy.

My fashion today consists of applier latex by Black Haus, a special that is available in both red and black at the current round of Designer Circle. This comes with appliers for Slink Physique, Maitreya Lara, and Belleza Venus fitted mesh bodies. My very detailed original mesh crop and blindfold are new gacha items by Maai and can be found in the main Maai store. I am showing you the black versions which are the Rare items in the machine- good luck! My dangerously high black latex boots are by Rachel Swallows Creations. These come in 5 standard sizes and I was able to wear the large with this new curvy shape that I have made for Ling. They are not fitted to any mesh bodies however, so please try a demo if you plan on using them with your mesh avatar. As I said earlier my skin is by WoW skins, but this skin, Ilenia, is a brand new release that you can find right when you walk in the main store. Finally my hair is a new release by wasabi pills at the current round of faMESHed.

I don't know how often I am going to blog with Ling, but I intend to start turning Friday's back into fetish clothing highlights once again as often as I have amazing new fetish designs to highlight. I hope that turns into every Friday! Finally, I wanted to say thank you to those that sent me notes about missing Lady Ling or especially liking that part of my blog. I received quite a few of those over the last 9 months and I appreciate it! To those of you that it matters, Lady Ling is Back!

New Magika hair, Eudora 3D shoes, and stunning Mandala jewelry are making my day! You can find the latter two at the new round of uber that opened two days ago. This is kind of just a LOTD post because I really love all of these items and how they go together as well.
