I tried to be optimistic last year, but now I think it might just be a bad, worse, worst case scenario (20, 21, 22). The CDC just shorted the time period for positive COVID cases to 5 days and Florida had 38,000 new cases of COVID yesterday. There are no plans for any changes, whatsoever and it will just be business as usual and I am worried about the outcome. The apocalypse is just so ssllllooooooooooooooowwww, and I am ready to get off the ride. I hope I am wrong and 2022 turns out to be amazing.

     I know I have not blogged in a few weeks. I got a new computer and it took time to get it all set up and ready to work on blogs! December has been so full of amazing things in Second Life. Lelutka is giving away two free Evolution X heads! Up until this point, I had tried on Avalon and played with it, but never fealt like it was "me" enough. I have spent some time working on the skin/shape on this new free Kaya head and I really LOVE it! I think it might totally be the new 2022 Kirsten. I really adore the static animations in the Lelutka Hud. What do you guys think? Does it look like Kirsten? 

      Truth was in Fifty Linden Fridays for the first time that I can ever remember with this amazing Christmas version of Adore with the Essential Pack which is normally 500L (full version blogged HERE previously). I hope you picked up this amazing hair when it was only 50L! If not, it is STILL there on the front counter for only 75L. I have no idea how long it will be there, so go grab it if you have not already.      Nantra is at the December 2021 round of The Liaison Collaborative with the Jingle Bell Rock pose pack. This pose pack is inspired by the "Mean Girls" talent show dance scene so it is vibrant and full of sass. Both of my poses in this post come from the Nantra Jingle Bell Rock pack.

    This post was supposed to be done on Friday 11/19/21. So pretend with me! I found an entire store full of FREE latex fetish clothing for Maitreya Lara. If you wear other bodies, this is not a find for you, but if you wear Maitreya and are into fetish clothing, then I found the most amazing store and it is all FREE. I picked up 24 outfits, long latex gloves, and about six pairs of latex boots at D'evil. You can tip the designer, Dariana Violet, if you like what you find and appreciate her work. 

    The clothing is all latex or leather and comes with a color change HUD. They have 5 latex colors built in and then you can tint the white latex and even input whatever RGB color you want making the colors of the clothing endless. I got dresses, corsets, bodysuits, jumpsuits, gloves, and boots as well as other fetish items such as harness, chastity belts, and a hood.

    Clueless has been one of my favorite movies for as long as I can remember. Sure it is a modern day nod to Jane Austen's Emma, but this movie was in my high school heyday and I just thought it was the coolest.  So when David Heather made Clueless costumes, I could not get to the store fast enough to buy the iconic yellow plaid Cher costume. While there I ran into Ziion Kira who was at the store to get the Dionne costume and I asked her if she would take a picture with me.         Nothing on the adds says original mesh and at this price point it is most likely template mesh, however, the 2D latex textures that have been drawn for all of these designs are really well done and seems unique as I have not seen it saturated over the grid. 

        To be able to see the latex as it was designed, you do need to make sure that you have advanced lighting enabled in your viewer and it also helps to wear the "latex lights" that are included in each design. If you are not looking at the design with advanced lighting, it will not look like this on your computer screen. That is not the designer's fault however and just user error. If you are looking for sexy fitmesh latex, check out Alice Boutique on marketplace. 

        I have been trying skins on this new head and haven't found one that I like enough to buy yet. However, I also pulled out all my old pre-mesh head skins and tried them on as BOM layers and I was utterly surprised to find that most of them looked great on my face even though they were designed for the default avatar. However, the hands and feet look messed up. I am wearing an old Pink Fuel skin and Mochi was kind enough to make a BOM tattoo layer to fix the hands and feet so that you can wear all your old PF skins on your mesh bodies! You can find that fix in the main Pink Fuel store for only 1L. Thanks, Mochi!

      One of my favorite events every year is Vintage Fair. It is open for 2021! Truth is there with this hair that is giving me 1940's vibes with a modern twist, Bunny. The hair comes with a style hud, for four hairstyles in one, and it also has four different chest sizes (regular, chest, petite, and Kupra) for all the varying size needs on the grid. Truth Hair is an event sponsor of this year's fair and will be right at the main landing point of the event. Make sure to stop by before June 21, 2021 for this year's Vintage Fair. 

      I am exploring a sim that claims to have recreated the Scottish highlands. If you look on the right of the little, quaint cottage, you can just see part of a castle poking through the foliage. I found this spot that looks like the woodland path just grew into the hill and sat down to enjoy the scenery. Check out Aud Lang Syne for your own Scottish adventure.
