One of my favorite events every year is Vintage Fair . It is open for 2021! Truth is there with this hair that is giving me 1940...

One of my favorite events every year is Vintage Fair. It is open for 2021! Truth is there with this hair that is giving me 1940's vibes with a modern twist, Bunny. The hair comes with a style hud, for four hairstyles in one, and it also has four different chest sizes (regular, chest, petite, and Kupra) for all the varying size needs on the grid. Truth Hair is an event sponsor of this year's fair and will be right at the main landing point of the event. Make sure to stop by before June 21, 2021 for this year's Vintage Fair.

I am exploring a sim that claims to have recreated the Scottish highlands. If you look on the right of the little, quaint cottage, you can just see part of a castle poking through the foliage. I found this spot that looks like the woodland path just grew into the hill and sat down to enjoy the scenery. Check out Aud Lang Syne for your own Scottish adventure.

Have you seen the beach photographs of Marilyn Monroe taken by famed photographer Andre de Dienes in 1949? I have attempted to recreate some pictures inspired by that picture shoot and it was made possible by the amazing bento (hand and face) Image Essentials pose set Marilyn at Vintage Fair 2018. My Kaithleen's outfit, Cae sunglasses, and Exile hair are also exclusive new releases at Vintage Fair.

I made a collage of all the other poses in the Image Essentials Marilyn fatpack, 8 in all. I love this pose set so much!

I love all things Vintage and Retro so an entire Vintage Fair for the next two weeks is perfect for me. The Vintage Fair opened today and will run from June 8th through June 24th. This is a relatively short event (compared to month long ones) so make sure to stop by really soon. I am wearing or using exclusive new releases from Arte, Nantra, Narcisse, Cae, and Exile that can all be found at Vintage Fair. Pale Girl Productions and Culprit are hosting this fair and they have a wonderful shopping guide on the PGP website, CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL THE VINTAGE.

Narcisse released a flapper dress and it is really stunning with materials detail which looks amazing on the tassels when you are dancing. I also liked that I could change the fringe (in the fatpack) on the 5 different layers of tassels. My gorgeous skin with optional cat eyeliner and glam red lipstick is new by Arte. Cae released a few things at the fair and I am showing the gorgeous, faceted Audrey ring on my left hand. My shoulder length retro hair is new by Exile and my Follies II Nantra poses with bench and rezzable props help bring all the pieces together.

My new Kunglers jewelry set will be released at On9 tomorrow, June 9th. Most of Kunglers fabulous jewelry has a Vintage feel to it with a unique style and craftsmanship of the past (to me anyway), so this set goes perfectly with my flapper dress and retro styles today.

Powder Pack Catwa June 2017 was released yesterday. We got a lot of things that made me gasp and squee in delight and some things that were not for me. You can see all my reactions in my Unboxing Video! Not knowing what you are going to get, the surprise, is the fun and best part of it all. Also, even if a few things are not your cup of tea, the box is always worth way more than the purchase price. This time the Amara Beauty skin and makeup fatpack (worn above) would have almost been the value of the whole box for me personally because I loved it so much. This is by far my favorite skin that I have gotten in Powder Pack to date. It is gorgeous and it has LIGHT BROWS!!!!! Click the video below to see everything in this month's box!

The grid has exploded with Vintage and I am enjoying it so much! I squee'd when I saw the Kaithleen's dress at Vintage Fair. How cute is this? Kungler's is also at The Vintage Fair with the gorgeous earrings (close up below) that I am wearing. Kaithleens is right at the landing point on Sim 2 and Kungler's is on Sim 1 at the fair. Not only is The Vintage Fair going on but both TLC and Collabor88 both also have retro themes and items too. My shoes are from Eudora 3D at The Liaison Collaborative and they are gorgeous and go so well with my Vintage dress and look! Have fun shopping for all the classic styles!

Cosmetic Fair just opened yesterday. This event has transformed from the earlier versions of the event to something quite different due to the ever changing fashion landscape in SL. The Cosmetic Fair is now full of applier makeup (and skins) for all the various mesh heads. This makes it interesting as a shopper because in the old days (a year ago, lol) I could wear all the cosmetics because they were all system layers. I wore them on my regular avatar face. Now I have to look at each vendor and see which appliers are included. Some are only for one specific head that I don't own, like Fiore, for example which makes them something I can't even use. Omega helps a little bit because that definitely makes the makeup wearable by more people. If something is not made for Catwa, then I can still wear it if it also comes with Omega.

One of the things I noticed was many of the cosmetic items did not have a demo. I need a demo for all cosmetics, especially if it is applied through Omega and not made specifically for my mesh head. Without a demo, I can't tell whether a lipstick layer is going to fit on my lips (so I don't buy them). So makeup designers, please include demos with all of your releases (especially lipstick).

I am wearing three new items from the Cosmetic Fair: eyeshadow, eyes, and face highlights. I was totally excited about the face highlights. It reminds me of my RL MAC Mineralize- which I love. I totally felt like I was applying that to my avatar when I put on Veechi's new Prism Highlight Kit. My colorful two-tone eyeshadow is made by Zibska. Finally my pretty new eyes are made by Insol. They are a gacha item- so you have to play to get the eye color you want. I got lucky and pulled the one I wanted on my fourth try. I am also wearing some simple Arte lipgloss that I previously owned. I wanted to focus on my eyes and make them pop and went with simple for my lips.

My fitmesh bodysuit is brand new by Maai. It comes in fitmesh for Slink (X2) and Maitreya. I love the lace over a contrasting color of this design. I think it is just stunning with so many great small details like the scalloped edges. Find yours at the main Maai store.

Finally I have two more items that are at Vintage Fair. My rings (that you can't see as well as I would like) are new by Kunglers and my sexy hair is by Truth. Both exclusive items at Vintage Fair.

I think Vintage Fair rocks! I am loving all the hair, poses (Nantra blogged previously, here), lingerie, and shoes especially at this event. Pose makers make all of our picture possible. Without them we would all just be standing noobs and that would not be attractive at all. Everglow made this exclusive new pose prop, Baroque Chair, for the event. The chair is texture change with both the fabric and metal and it comes with 10 adjustable retro poses in the chair (so you do need to be able to rez to use this prop).

I am wearing some retro Doe hair and Essenz shoes that are also exclusive to the event. This Doe hair, Antonia, comes fitted or non-rigged and you can color it solid or each side separately. The bow in the back is also texture change via the same hair color HUD that you use to texture your hair. Look in the top left corner for an "up arrow" that says "accessories" to color the bow. Essenz made these wide heel platforms for the event. The wide heel definitely speaks Vintage to me.

My eyeshadow is also an exclusive item by Veechi at the event (see it in more detail below). Finally all of my lingerie are new exclusives from Vintage Fair too (and both new-to-me stores that I have never blogged before). My top is fitmesh from Entice and my applier vintage panties and stockings are from Avenge. So basically I am covered head to toe in exclusive Vintage Fair goodies! This is a bit of a tease because I am showing you items from an event that starts June 10th, Vintage Fair. I am so excited for this fair. I got to preview and what is already out looks amazing- like these Nantra poses and Elikatira hair. Both will be exclusive items at Vintage Fair 2016. You will find items from the 20's to the 70's and even some much earlier roleplay items too. I love the Vintage variety I found at the event. Make sure to stop by Vintage Fair when it opens June 10th!

I fell instantly in love with this pose prop from Nantra. You get this mesh Vintage car (40 Li) with 16 adjustable poses built into the prop (so you do need to be able to rez to use this set) and the car changes to 8 colors too. It was so fun to shoot these pictures with this amazing pose prop! Exclusively at Vintage Fair starting June 10th.
