Today I am highlighting these gorgeous, delicate lace heels by Gos that were just released at faMESHed. They come in a couple of fatpack color options. I made mine all white, but you can actually have another color on the heel with an alternating lace color on top. Get them at the event before July 27th.

I have tried the new Glam Affair skins and skin tones and so far, I have not found the one that I love and feels like me. I am hovering between the new tone 5 or 6, but I don't love either one as much as America. Tone 5 seems way to red/ blushed to me and tone 6 is just a little darker than I like to go. So I am just wearing my old favorite Glam Affair skin in my old favorite tone, lol. Sometimes things take time to grow on me and sometimes, I just can't find a right fit for me. I hope it's the former because I love GA. Have you guys found your new GA skin tone?

Happy Friday the 13th! N-core is at Black Fair with these great boots in both this shiny texture and a suede version. I am still having difficulty getting to the Black Fair personally. The sim has been full every time I try to teleport and it is only open til October 20th. This is when I start to seriously consider getting a premium membership. Between having first shot at teleporting to full sims as well as more group spots, they might have finally found the incentives needed to get me to go premium. Hopefully it will thin out and we can all get in to embrace the darkness!

Cosmetic Fair just opened yesterday. This event has transformed from the earlier versions of the event to something quite different due to the ever changing fashion landscape in SL. The Cosmetic Fair is now full of applier makeup (and skins) for all the various mesh heads. This makes it interesting as a shopper because in the old days (a year ago, lol) I could wear all the cosmetics because they were all system layers. I wore them on my regular avatar face. Now I have to look at each vendor and see which appliers are included. Some are only for one specific head that I don't own, like Fiore, for example which makes them something I can't even use. Omega helps a little bit because that definitely makes the makeup wearable by more people. If something is not made for Catwa, then I can still wear it if it also comes with Omega.

One of the things I noticed was many of the cosmetic items did not have a demo. I need a demo for all cosmetics, especially if it is applied through Omega and not made specifically for my mesh head. Without a demo, I can't tell whether a lipstick layer is going to fit on my lips (so I don't buy them). So makeup designers, please include demos with all of your releases (especially lipstick).

I am wearing three new items from the Cosmetic Fair: eyeshadow, eyes, and face highlights. I was totally excited about the face highlights. It reminds me of my RL MAC Mineralize- which I love. I totally felt like I was applying that to my avatar when I put on Veechi's new Prism Highlight Kit. My colorful two-tone eyeshadow is made by Zibska. Finally my pretty new eyes are made by Insol. They are a gacha item- so you have to play to get the eye color you want. I got lucky and pulled the one I wanted on my fourth try. I am also wearing some simple Arte lipgloss that I previously owned. I wanted to focus on my eyes and make them pop and went with simple for my lips.

My fitmesh bodysuit is brand new by Maai. It comes in fitmesh for Slink (X2) and Maitreya. I love the lace over a contrasting color of this design. I think it is just stunning with so many great small details like the scalloped edges. Find yours at the main Maai store.

Finally I have two more items that are at Vintage Fair. My rings (that you can't see as well as I would like) are new by Kunglers and my sexy hair is by Truth. Both exclusive items at Vintage Fair.

Maai has just released a beautiful fitmesh formal. The Yrena Gown is fitmesh for Maitreya and Slink (Physique and Hourglass) and is available in 13 Satiny colors. Snow (Maai designer) has released a few more fitmesh gowns as well in the last few days (one that is latex and one with a lace overlay design). I have missed new Maai releases and am so happy to see new fitmesh gowns from this designer. The main store has been re-organized into an applier side and a fitmesh side. I can't wait to see all the original fitmesh designs that will be released.

Nantra is at Genre with this amazing Degas' Ballerinas pose set. You get 6 poses and their mirrors for only 100L while at the event. Genre is at about the half-way point, so you have about two weeks left for this deal. This pose pack is perfect to highlight the new Slink Deluxe Feet and Margot Ballet Slippers. One of the reasons I love blogging for pose stores (besides amazing poses) is I can get all creative with the pictures and don't have to worry about showing everything so it looks authentic to how it looks in SL. I went looking for winter/snow sims today and frankly I was not impressed overall. I found a bunch of regular prim build places that look stuck in 2007 SL. It is beyond time to switch to mesh, second life, and get with the times- to include trees! I am working on my own little slice of winter bliss at my house in SL and will hopefully use that for my pictures soon.

Ducknipple just released a bunch of items under their 20FIVE label- which means a 5 color change HUD and an introductory low price. My sweater dress was in this release in two color packs- a Fresh and a Warm (shown) pack. This sweater dress comes in standard sizes and fitmesh for Maitreya (shown), Physique, and Belleza. You can't beat it for 95L.

I have found some leather fitmesh, leather costumes, a latex dress by Valentina E (there is another similar design at the current round of faMESHed too), Bax Boots, and Slink Boots, but very little else that could be considered fetish fitmesh. Today I bring you Fetish formalwear- Dommes need to dress up too! Our Maai gowns are latex and they are only made in fitmesh for Slink (on Kirsten), Maitreya (on Lady Ling), Belleza, and TMP. You need to have one of those mesh bodies to wear this design. You can find this dress in the main Maai store in a new section titled: Fitmesh for Mesh Bodies. Maai has been killing it with awesome original fitmesh designs. My pretty dress with an intricate swirly texture is brand new and made in fitmesh for Physique and Maitreya. It only works with mesh bodies as no standard sizes are included (which I hope becomes the norm). I prefer fitmesh. This dress is available in 9 colors. I am wearing it in orange which is pretty unusual for me, but the orange and black just looked so Halloweeny to me and I am in the mood. I love this month and holiday. It is my favorite SL holiday.

Hiram and I have been going around to look at haunted places in SL. The Haunted places in SL tour notecard seems very outdated. We found that most of the links did not work. I had to search to find most places that we visited. I am in one of the haunted houses that I thought was pretty cool.

They are mesh and either 1 or 2 land impact only.

Making all the multiple appliers became really time consuming for designers so some have only been making Omega appliers and now they will work with my Physique. So all the previous Omega appliers that I have already in my inventory will work with Slink. I have been loving all the shiny, shimmery, irridescent textures at collabor 88 this round. I really can't get enough of them. I just have a cute look of the day today pairing one of my new shimmery shirts with some older favorites. My original mesh Maai shoes are made for Maitreya and Slink and my Maai thigh highs come in a variety of colors and prints and include Slink feet, Physique, Omega, and TMP appliers.

I also found some new windlights that I am LOVING made by Katya Valeska. They are mostly soft, pastel, and bright. You can download them here.

Kaithleen's has the cutest, sexiest Alice outfit at Alice in Sexyland, imo, AND IT HAS A FITMESH SIZE for Maitreya Lara too!!! I was so super excited to see the first fitmesh made for a mesh body from Kaithleen's I can not even tell you how loud I was as I screamed and jumped for joy! Kaithleen's is all original mesh and I was soooo hoping she would branch off into offering fitmesh sizes as well as rigged mesh. It still has the 5 standard rigged sizes, but this design also contains a fitmesh size! WOOHOO!!! Maitreya fitmesh sizes are experimental but this worked really well for me with my curvy Lara shape. I only had to alpha two small spots on my boobs- the rest worked perfectly. Be sure to try a demo when you visit the event (it has been full since it opened yesterday but hopefully you can get in soon!).
