One of the many reasons that I love Second Life is the opportunities to leave normal behind and become any fantasy character in any time period I want. If you are a fan of the TV show, Vikings, then you will know the TV character that I am attempting to honor with this picture, Lagertha the Shieldmaiden. The current round of Enchantment is Viking themed and you can find my no match hair and Nantra pose prop set at the event until March 8, 2021.

I am visiting the very cool Viking roleplay sim, Vargsangen. When I teleported here I was greeted with a welcome note to photographers/bloggers to request a Skalde tag so you can rezz. I am always SO appreciative of beautiful sims that welcome photographers and help us to do our work with ease.

Eudora 3D is at We <3 Roleplay with this stunning fantasy jewelry set, Eir. The necklace, bracelets, and shoulders are available in a few different metals. I am showing them in bronze to coordinate with the metal on my FDD Stories Rare corset. This outfit was at last month's fantasy gacha carnival. It was a must have on my list and I meant to blog it but somehow it didn't happen during the gacha event. FDD Stories puts their past event gacha machines in their main stores so this lovely Keely outfit will be there after the event. I had so much fun shooting these pictures. I love blogging, but these pictures made my soul happy. I really adore the intricate nature of fantasy items in SL. I happened to get a few items from stores I blog for at the same time that inspired this photo shoot- I love when that coalesces. Apple May just released these antlers at Tres Chic. The rose color changes into 4 colors via HUD and it comes with a small pair (shown) and a large pair of antlers. Eudora 3D just released this organic necklace that looks a lot like leaves at the current round of The Secret Affair. Finally, Pink Fuel just released this FURY face makeup that is perfect for this fantasy shot. It is available in regular layers and in an applier pack with appliers for Catwa (shown), Lelutka, TMP, and LOGO mesh heads. You get 8 different makeups in your purchase. I think it looks like a mask or kickass warrior facepaint.

I had way too much fun at Fantasy Gacha! I love playing gacha machines. My outfit and mount are from Alchemy and my wings are Astralia - both at FGC. I actually did not even play this machine though. I looked at the contact sheet and my "rare" was the pink version. Since it was all common items and those were the ones I wanted most, I decided to look at marketplace. I found this whole set in different pieces and parts right on MP and bought it from there. Being able to re-sale your duplicate or extra gacha items is what keeps us all playing. I know I would not play nearly as much if I did not have such great luck reselling my extras in my gacha store, Kirsten's Gacha Garden.

I am addicted to everything FDD Stories makes. It is always so exquisite and fitmesh too makes it irresistible to me. They are at Fantasy Gacha Carnival with the Eurwen set. The Gacha gods smiled on me and gave me the ULTRARARE hair/ crown/ tiara and the RARE Tunic and RARE Jewelry set in about 15 pulls. I could not believe it! See, this is why I am gacha addicted. Chasing that high when you pull the RARE is an endless form of entertainment for me. You can see most of the current round in the official shopping guide. These are a limited edition item and will only be available during this round of uber. They come in two colors cream or a the little bit darker one that I am wearing called coffee. Uber is full right now so you will need to use a Let me in or Get me in HUD or wait a few days. I love my Get me In Hud- it works every time to get me into full places and it does not teleport you away after you get in.

Look at my ultra rare boots! SQUEE! My obsession with the amazing fitmesh sets from FDD Stories continues without any sign of slowing. I am pretty sure it is just getting worse in correlation to the continued gorgeous outfits. This outfit is currently at Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The corset and jacket are RARE and the boots are ULTRA RARE and all the rare items come with texture change huds that make these pieces extremely versatile. I pulled everything except the boots. I traded two rare corsets to get them. I love Gacha! My hair with horns is new from Doe, also at Fantasy Gacha. I am using the pastel color HUD. The horns come with a 18 texture change hud too.

Fantasy fitmesh can be found at FDD Stories in abundance which is why I adore it. You can find my adorable crab jewelry set from Cae at Illusion Point. My fitmesh sandals are from Reign at Epiphany Gacha, one of the Rare prizes.

I mentioned last weekend that I was in love with FDD Stories and that love affair continues. This fantasy brand is making fitmesh works of art made for the Maitreya mesh body. I can't remember loving a dress as much as this one in a long time. I feel like a storybook princess. You can find this brand new dress in 8 color combinations, most not near as girly as this pink one which is my favorite, at the new round of The Fantasy Collective. I accessorized with aisling Dame des Fleurs floral set and a Lode head accessory that you can find at the current round of The Chapter Four.

Yes, I am really in love with all these items! My pretty updo is new from Doe (formerly ploom) at My Attic. Get this cute updo while its only 95L during the duration of this event.

I have been enjoying Fantasy Gacha so much this weekend, which is kind of amusing considering I don't really have anywhere to wear these fantasy looks since I don't role play in SL. I have fallen in love with FDD Stories which is a fantasy store that is making fitmesh clothing and boots that are so intricate and well done I went around and bought a bunch all over the grid at every event I could find this store. My first FDD outfit was last fantasy gacha and I blogged it HERE and HERE. I really loved that one and how detailed it was, but I was not familiar with the brand. When I FELL HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE with the FDD fitmesh dresses at this round of fantasy gacha, I decided I needed to really investigate this brand. I think these leather dresses are so amazing that I plan on wearing them, in red, blue, purple, etc- (I got all the common colors), just as regular dresses, lol. They fit perfectly on my Maitreya lara mesh body with my curvy shape. Here is a better fashion shot below. I was playing and wanted to make a fantasy picture above.

I spent a small fortune trying to get the Ultra rare black dress and thigh high boots and did not get them. I do have a bunch of the common dresses at my yardsale at Gachatopia if you want some colors! Anyway, when I went to the store I was so excited to see a wall full of shoes and boots and these thigh high fitmesh boots are not gacha, you can just buy the colors you want. I thought they went well with my dress! It is important to remember to change your foot size from zero when wearing fitmesh or your feet look way too small and the boots don't look as good either all scrunched up. I made mine 30. Hiram and I are having fun at Fantasy Gacha. This is a rare pose from Rack Poses in the Rogue pose set at FGC. I have already blogged my FDD outfit in black and I love it so much I am showing it again a little bit differently in brown. I am also wearing it with my curvy shape this time and before I wore my standard size shape. This is fitmesh so it adjusts to my shape. I did not get the brown ultra rare corset or gloves and thats ok. As you can see wearing just a few of the pieces is way cute also. I love the look of the half top too although the ultra rare corset is particularly amazing and if someone wanted to give me one- I would not say no! I am accessorizing with a bunch of other jewelry and items I got at Fantasy Gacha as well.

Hiram is wearing the Reverie Barroom Hero outfit, also in brown, although he got both brown and black full sets. I told him I liked it and wanted him to have it. He spoils me way too much. Although I think this is supposed to be like an old west gunslinger, I think it can be easily adapted to a host of other fantasy roles like rogue and pirate.

Adam n' Eve just released a bunch of make-up and body art for the regular avatar, Slink physique, and Visage. I am wearing some lipstick, eyeliner, and eyeshadow from the new sets. They have demos that are really free mini testers because they are wearable. So go have a look at the new Makeup Counter at Adam n' Eve.

FDD is at Fantasy Gacha with this amazing fitted mesh outfit. I can't tell you how much I love each and every piece. I did have to play a bit to get the whole outfit in black, which is what I decided I had to have. The boots are rare and the corset is ultra rare. The details on the mesh and texture are exquisite. I think its supposed to be some sort of Rogue female role play character, but when I saw it I of course thought Dominant female- especially in the black. In that vein, I am using a new pose set with props by NanTra called Yes, Mistress.

Do you watch Black Sails? I like it because it is loosly based on Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson (and I am a book nerd) and has a kick ass female lead in a powerful role. This outfit definitely made me think of something that might be worn in this genre and time period and so I set out to find a "pirate boudoir" for my pictures today. I am at Moors of Elmandria which is a role play sim so please wear an OOC tag which is located in the Welcome notecard if you visit for the scenery as I did.

So I guess this is my rendition of a pirate Domme around about the time period of Treasure Island. What do you think? *wink*
