I am wearing the new retro cute outfit, RockaDoll, from Sassy today! Yesterday I was at the fair shopping and styling and Gogo IMed me and wanted to take my picture! I knew that if I sat and thought about what in the world I would wear on juicybomb.com, we might get pictures made by 2014, maybe. So I just went with what I was working on styling on the spot. They are materials enabled so in a materials viewer you can actually see the sequins sparkling and reflecting with light sources in the game in a natural way. The dress has a mesh base with a little bit of flexi over the skirt portion to provide some flounce action when you go dancing. The dress is available in 9 shimmery colors. My Tiara is new from Glam Affair at this months faMESHed. My hair is new from Exile and I have to say the curls in this updo are gorgeous.

I have been trying to find something to wear with my IRIDESCENT shoes from Belgravia for quite some time. They were one of those things that I just had to buy because I loved them, but then wasn't sure what to wear with them. I am so glad the pink reflections and shiny sequins coordinate so well with one of my favorite pairs of shoes ever! I feel like a princess today!

I have so much fun getting dressed in SL. I really love my SLife. I am so super happy and Ricielli always makes me happier! I love their 15L mesh hunts and there is a new one called the Halloween hunt. You are looking for 20 ghosts and as always they are easy to find, contain gorgeous mesh clothing, and are only 15L each. I found my pants, top, and lipstick in the hunt. Ricielli hunts usually stay in the store for a while so even though Halloween is over, this Halloween hunt at Ricielli is just beginning.

My purse is also from Ricielli and its actually the free group gift right now. You just activate the group and click on the poster right inside the door of the main mesh store.

My necklace is from Real Evil Industries and I first found this store when they put this free gorgeous jewelry set on marketplace. The set I am wearing today comes with so many options via a HUD that its too many to list. You really need to look at the pictures on MP of all the amazing options, colors, and textures that are included with this set for the low price of 299L.

My shoes are from CandyDoll. You can change the color of the bow into 20 different colors via HUD. The Flair polish is the perfect finishing touch to my ensemble.

I went to faMESHed November and I will start with the end of the story before I tell you all about my traumatic evening. I am wearing the new dress from Coquet, shoes from N-core, and hair by Exile. I love them all, am happy, and I think I am super cute!

Now my crazy night! faMESHed is laggy on day one and of course I know that. I went through happily clicking the demos of all the items when I suddenly realized my money was about 4,000L lower than I thought I had. I had to go to my transaction history on the main website to figure out that I had ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT THE SHOE FATPACK WHEN I WAS TRYING TO GET THE DEMO. I have no idea how I did that, but it was really laggy I suppose.

N-core shoes have a demo and are no transfer and so I did not expect to have my stupid mistake rectified, but I sent Nuria a notecard anyway. I figured it could not hurt and I am a long time customer and have blogged her shoes many times too.

I was pleasantly surprised when Nuria contacted me and refunded my money! I almost did not want to write about that because I don't want other people to think this is standard practice and take advantage of her. But it was just such wonderful, amazing, unexpected customer service that I could not help myself. I also had a nice talk with her about the sheath on her shoes. I had not bought N-core shoes in a while because I could not turn off the sheath and in shadows it does not look very good due to an SL glitch. Nuria informed me that you can wear her shoes with the sheath on and high graphics with shadows as long as you turn OFF ambient occlusion. This worked pretty well actually and the sheath did not appear as a horrible much darker object. Thank you for everything Nuria!

I went back to faMESHed and got the demo and bought a single color of the shoe. Customer service like that will increase your sales second life designers! It turned a customer around that was not buying shoes due to the sheath into one that will again. I have always loved the sexy, delicate shape of the N-core foot and if you follow my blog you know that I buy ALOT of shoes!

I really like the mesh latex that comes from Catch It. The reflections are very well done. My hair is brand new from Exile which just released 5 new styles.

Beautiful Dirty Rich has recently released a bunch of new costumes that are mesh or partial mesh and all only around 150L. If you want a new mesh costume, but have been turned off by the usual 400-500L price tag for an outfit you will most likely wear once, try some reasonably priced ones from BDR.

I am wearing the Candy Corn Witch with a few adjustments. It came with mesh stripe socks and heels, but I opted for some clothing layer ones and boots because the included heels were just not my taste. The mesh dress and hat that come with this costume are adorable though! Here are some of the links to the new costumes on MP: Candy Corn Witch, Applause, Tinkerbell, Under My Spell, Bee and Ladybug. Many of the costumes at BDR also have appliers and if you have some of the older costumes, the applier updates are only ONE linden! Like Catwoman for example and here is the 1L applier update.

The candy in my mouth and the trick or treat bucket were FREE from Havenhollow. This is a very cute place that is set up like a typical suburban neighborhood and you can go trick or treating door to door. There are treats to be had, but be careful- there are also lots of tricks too!

cheeky has a bunch of new releases that came out recently. I am pairing two of them, the pinned leather pants and Kelly top with tango appliers, in this outfit. I love the pinned leather pants! You can also get them in black, red, white, and yellow. The rips and pins are such a cute touch and I love the wrinkles on the knees and bottom. These are really nicely done leather pants and something different than the others I own.

I don't even try to keep up with memes and challenges because it is hard enough trying to keep up with the fashion industry in SL (as best I can) while working full time in RL. Often I see one that I think is cool and want to do it, but usually end up doing them later if at all. This meme was from Strawberry about 2 weeks ago. I am choosing to just do the original meme and only google my SL name.

1. Google your second life name in quotations and share your results: About 7,010 hits.

2. What is the first link that comes up? My plurk page was first and that surprised me! My blog was second.

3. Which link were you surprised to see? The big surprise for me was that in July Iris Ophelia of New World Notes did a news article with my avatar name in the title- about me, my blog, and a video blog that I made about the materials viewer! I can't believe I missed that and that nobody else told me about it!

4. Click on the image tab and tell us where the first 5 pictures are from. Before I clicked on the tab I saw the preview of images above and I was a little ticked off that the very first one is for the copybotted shape that is being sold on marketplace using my avatar name without my permission. However when I actually clicked on the images tab, that was not one of the first listed. The first five pictures were from: blogger.com, plurk.com, twitter.com, flickr.com, and shoppingcartdisco.com.

In this post I will be sharing 5 fun Halloween themed places in Second Life (with a bit of fashion mixed in of course). I went to many different places and quite a few were boring, unoriginal, or just not well done. So I have waded through the huge list that comes up in search and found five places that I really think you should not miss this holiday. Halloween is my favorite holiday in SL!

1) Veil of Darkness- Halloween from Calas Galadhon- this is a really creative spooky build with a bit of fun too. You navigate your way through the forest and castle trying to find the hidden door at the top room of the castle that will bring you back to the start. Plan on spending about an hour to complete the game.

2) A GREAT Halloween Ride - 10 minutes of inventive creative spook. I did a couple of different Halloween rides and this is the only one I am recommending. It was pretty fast paced with something to see the entire ride. The items on the ride are not all your typical blood and gore. I enjoyed the spooky surprises.

3) The Haunted House Trail Halloween Experience- a ton of very diversified fun to be had here! All 9 things listed next can be found on this trail.

Carnival of Carnivorous Clowns -Can you find your way through the clown fun house? It says it takes 30 minutes, but it took Hiram and I about 90 minutes. I am not sure if that is just because we suck or it usually takes longer. We also talked a lot and were silly. We had a blast figuring out this colorful maze though! If you make it through, share your survival picture in this plurk!

Hell House- Haunted House for Adults only
Monster Blaster- some silly fun to be had! Strap on your gun and kill monsters that can't hurt you. A great way to get out some frustration!

4) DarkDharma HaUnTeD Manor and HaUnTeD FoReSt- Well done and spooky enough!

5) Opium's Haunted Mansion- This is a fashion show event with specific set times, but it is definitely worth planning on attending over the next three days.

I just can't resist great quality original mesh for 25L! Make sure you check out the main store or official blog to keep up with the weekly specials and all the great new releases from Apple May. I got this dress a few weeks ago as the 25L weekly special.

If the fatpack of an item came with only one prim item and a HUD that would color change that item, would you buy more fatpacks? I know I would! Think of the inventory space and time changing that will be saved!

Recently, the new release mesh items that are being released by Sassy! are coming with a HUD if you buy the fatpack. Ivy informed me that she does not plan on going back and redoing old items but that her plans are that all new mesh item fatpacks will now come with a color change HUD. This is a great upgrade. Ivy also said that she is planning on lowering the price of the new mesh item fatpacks with HUDs!

The two that are available currently are the new releases at the Bitacora Travel fair, Autumn Blossem dress, and at the Boho Culture Fair 2, Boho Chic Jacket. Both events run until October 31st so you still have a few days to check them out at those events and get a new fatpack HUD from Sassy!

Hello Fetish Lovers! I was sick last week and did not make it into SL to get my post done (did you miss me?). I have a LOT of great items and news to share with you today.

First, the new store I found while doing the Dare 2 Bare hunt, Moyet, is having a 50% off sale this weekend only! The older items are clothing layer but very nicely drawn latex and fetish outfits, many with appliers for implant breasts. The newer items are normally about 400-500L because they are mesh and most come with a HUD so you can change the colors. So really you are getting many items for one low price, but this weekend you will find them at an even better deal- 50% off! I am featuring the newest release at Moyet, the multicolor corset dress. This is such a well done mesh latex dress! It comes with a HUD that lets you change each individual part separately into 8 colors. With the HUD you can also take off the shirt or the skirt (so you can just wear the corset for example), turn the nipple piercings on or off, change the glossiness of the latex, and change the metal colors.

In other news, one of my friends, Carl Crabgrass is re-opening his pose store, The Kissable Foot. Currently it is only on marketplace, but hopefully soon it will be in world too. He just released a pet bed. The bed comes with many single and couple animations and was made for a male submissive and a female Domme. That is exciting to me because so much stuff in SL is made for female submissives and male dominants. You can easily adjust the poses though, so I am sure it could be used by any D/s couple. The bed also has 12 different color combinations to coordinate with your favorite dungeon or bedroom decor.
