I have tried a bunch of mesh heads and they never felt like me. From the moment I tried on the new Catwa Jessica mesh head, it felt like me. I have always said that I would not buy a mesh head until it had normal (not downturned or oddly shaped) lips and expressions. I found both of those and so much more in the new Catwa Jessica Mesh Head. I love it! I made a video showing this head and have more pictures to include in this blog post as well. I hope you enjoy watching/ looking at them. Here is a collage I made with all of the cute expressions that come with this head.

So cute! I also played with the makeup layers in the WoW head applier that I am wearing as well as some of the included eyeliner in the Catwa Hud so you can see both the expression and some makeup variation that is available in this mesh head. Next, I am going to add my video of the Catwa Jessica Mesh Head Review.

This alterego collage really shows how you can make this head your own with the addition of your favorite skin applier. A skin applier can really change the look of the head. So far alterego has made this applier in caramel and also in the powder skin tone. I am hoping for a honey skin tone applier soon (since that is my favorite alterego skin tone).

Here is my full body look for today. I am wearing the new Neve embrace dress that is part of the Mix event this month. This dress comes in four diffenent texture options and each one comes with a four texture change hud as well. I show that in my video after the Catwa head review. My shoes are new by Livalle at the SaNaRae event. These high wedges are available in 11 colors. You can see these in my video as well and a close up of some of the features like the materials enabled textures.

Well, I am officially mesh from head to toe now! I have heard that Pink Fuel will be releasing appliers this weekend, although I have not seen them yet- just some tempting teaser pictures in plurk so far. It is on the LOGO mesh head in those plurk pictures, but I really hope it will be Omega compatible so I can wear it with my Catwa head too. I can't wait to get a pink fuel skin on this head! I want a Glam Affair one too! I am Catwa head/ skin crazy right now,lol. Seriously though skin makers- make Omega head appliers. Both Catwa and Logo are now Omega compatible.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays in SL. I love walking though spooky places. It is a super fun thing to do with a group of people. This year I am going to be looking for mesh body appliers- skins (like the one I am wearing today), halloween makeup- and also fitmesh Halloween clothing and costumes. Ducknipple newness today. You can find this big comfy sweater, skirt, and shoes with 12 color change options via HUD in the main Ducknipple store. The skirt and shoes even change to two colors (12 each, 24 in all). I suppose its about to be officially fall September 23rd and I am sure in other places you guys are feeling it, but I am a florida girl and the leaves and weather does not really change yet. Due to that, I enjoy fall colors and leaves inside SL. I am starting to look for pretty sims with fall leaves. I am at Frisland today- where you can find the trees changing to fall hues.

Apple May Designs is at shiny shabby with some classic jean skirts. They come in classic blue (shown), light, and black denim. Each skirt comes in 4 standard sizes for the standard avatar, 4 standard sizes for Maitreya Lara, one fitmesh size for Belleza Freya, and one fitmesh size for Belleza Isis. I was really confused at first because I just assumed if something was rigged for a certain body that it would be fitmesh. The skirts did not say fitmesh, but they did say Maitreya. They also had sizes on them like S, M, L. I don't think I have seen standard sizes rigged to a specific mesh body before, until now. I did notice a difference though. The skirts rigged for Maitreya fit around my waist better than the regular avatar when I am wearing my Lara. I would still much rather just have one fitmesh size for Maitreya Lara and/or Slink Physique though- so hopefully AMD will make those in the future. If you wear Belleza I/F then you are set with fitmesh in this design. The skirts are totally cute with great textures and the belt changes to a few colors via HUD.

If you are confused about all the terms I used above and the differences, WATCH THIS VIDEO. =)

I have some goodies from uber, a new alterego skin, and a beautiful picture place in this post. Uber is filled to the brim with amazing items and most of them are fitmesh which I love. I made my first purchase from Vinyl with these jeans. I love how they fit and the knees are done without the use of another layer to mimic skin which I thought was cool. I don't think I have seen ripped mesh that is really see through to your skin like this, cool. My top is from Addams and my hair is Truth. All can be found at uber.

Alterego is currently being remodeled and when they open (on the 10th) they are going to have a full release of Janae and Daya in all 7 skin tones in the alterego collection. Those skins were previously at OMG gacha in a limited release. I am wearing Daya in honey in this post. I really adore the lips and the beauty mark that is near the lips. I am wearing the no eyebrow version so that I can wear blonde eyebrows. Each skin comes with three brow options (including no brows) and an assortment of lip appliers.

Ok, I know this does not look like Kirsten. Not only am I wearing a dark skin, but I also changed the features on my face as well. I am an alterego blogger and the exclusive skin at The Mesh Body Addicts Fair is Lana in havana and brown sugar (shown) which are two of the darker skin tones in the alterego skin line. Each skin comes with 5 brows, cleavage options, and appliers for Nyam Nyam, Loudmouth, Sweetlips, and Kissers. Other body and body part appliers are sold separately. Although not normally me, this skin is gorgeous and I really like being able to add this kind of variety to my blog so that more people can find things they want and love. I have friends in SL that have looked for darker skin tones and often had trouble finding a tone they liked. They reported to me that it was sometimes hard to find dark skin tones that were not chalky and grey and had good definition and details. These exclusive skins from alterego, as you can see, are smooth and really well done. If you are in the market for a darker skin tone, definitely try the alterego exclusive skins at MBA.

I am also wearing a ViVi applier bikini, SlackGirl eyeshadow, and Lambda original mesh shoes. I am way into chevron pattern right now, so this bikini was a hit for me. I also really like how the gold rings in the shoes and bikini coordinate effortlessly like they were made to go together when really they are from two different designers. Doe (formerly ploom) is there as a sponsor with this adorable one side curl hairdo and also with this narwhal too. I am holding one of the two Rares- Like a Princess Narwhal. Paper Rabbit is a Doe brand for all the cute things the designer (Helyanwe) makes. Kaithleen's has a new comfy tank top with a fitmesh size. I tried mine with both my Physique and my Lara and it worked with both with a few alphas. I think this is perfect for comfy casual summer looks. You can find this tank at the Mesh Avenue Event.

My fun necklace is new by Cae. This is part of Mix which is a new HUD-based shopping event. The event items are organized by sales, exclusives, and new releases. The Illuminati jewelry set is a new release and can be found in the main Cae store for the duration of this month's Mix event.

Hair Fair 2015 is in full swing and of course the sims are full. They do have a few side sims that you can cam shop from which I thought was really thoughtful event planning! They also have a wonderful blog and detailed map. I LOVE events with maps. This event is always so well planned every year. My goal was to find a new-to-me hair store that I thought was fabulous. I tried on this Fiore hair and I love it and I also love the blond textures which is always a big deal for me in finding hair.

OMG Gacha starts July 10th and I have seen a lot of great previews. AlterEgo has two new skins at the event, one in honey and one in caramel skin tones. I am wearing janae in honey skin tone in this post. This is a beautiful skin so make sure you check it out when OMG Gacha opens in a few days.

Look at all the great makeups that will be available in this machine! Gacha is a great way to get skins, imo, because it is usually a lot more inexspensive than buying them normally. You just have to try your luck to see which ones you get and if you are a Gacha addict like me- that just makes it more fun! These skins come with brown brows (shown), dark brows, and no brow options. Good Luck at OMG Gacha!

Skin Fair 2015 opens on March 13th and I spent my Sunday trying on demo skins. I was absolutely thrilled to find a new-to-me skin that I fell in love with. My skin, kensi, is new from alter ego and will be exclusive to the skin fair. This is a wonderful base skin with natural and slightly pink lips (called blushed) that you can use to start your look and would take make up layers beautifully.

Here are all six available skin tones: almond, honey, caramel, havana, brown sugar, and godiva. The skin comes with brown and dark eyebrows so in almond and honey I am wearing tintable brows (from alter ego) that I made light and dark blond and in godiva I tinted them black.

Features of the kensi alter ego skin:

Available in six skin tones
Comes with two lip colors: natural and blushed
Cleavage and no cleavage options
Variety of parts: no bits, no nips, no vag versions
All skin tones come with Loud mouth, NyamNyam, and Sweet Lips appliers
Brown, Dark, and No Brow options
Appliers are available for a variety of mesh parts and bodies, sold seperately

You should definitely try a demo of this skin located on sim 2. Landmarks will be provided as soon as Skin Fair officially opens- so check back for the update.

A great way to show skins is while wearing lingerie. I have some beautiful new lingerie from Maai that is at Showroom this month. I am wearing this skin and lingerie with my Slink hands and my Maitreya Lara mesh body. Maai Melinda comes in four color choices (black, red, purple, and teal) with five applier styles included with each color. Slink Physique/ Feet, Omega, and The Mesh Project appliers are included.

Maai also recently updated all of their fingernail HUDs to work with Slink 2, Maitreya, and Omega. I played with the darling polish, which is an assortment of neutral taupe tones, in this post. I painted each fingernail a different neutral tone.

**SKINS**
First I thought I would show you the 3 skins you can get in the Dominatrix Hunt. Since skins are some of the most expensive parts of making a quality looking avatar, getting pretty ones for free or nearly free is always nice! (This hunt was supposed to be a 1L hunt, but I found a lot of the items for 0L- about half and half.) I still call 1L- free.

I really like the WoW skin and can see myself wearing it. The CH skin is a bit too light in tone for me personally (and none of these came in tone variations- one color is all you get). On the Mystic Canvass skin, the eyebrows look a bit to drawn on. I know some girls like this (in RL too), but I tend to like my eyebrows look like hair in SL. I am acquiring eyebrows on tattoo layer through skin purchases often though, so if I had one that matched the skin tone- I might consider wearing this skin.
