Sassy has this great three quarter sleeve leather jacket at the Sad November event. It comes in 9 colors and the fatpack comes with a color change HUD to change to all the colors! I am going out of my comfort zone and using other windlights besides mine (Kirsten's Windlights). I am using Xanthes Hazy Daze and I am not used to not having shadows which hers do not have. I kind of like how this came out like a foggy fall day though.

My pine cone jewelry set is new by Cae at the new round of The Liaison Collaborative that just opened on the 15th. It has three metals and a bunch of pearl and jewel colors that change via HUD.

Hi, this is me, Kirsten. I don't look like myself today? Well that is because I am blogging my other half and getting a little bit of male fashion on my blog today. Hiram has been wearing the same skin for at least the last two years. It is a good skin but was starting to look dated. He has been looking for a skin that did not look too girly AND has hand and feet appliers for Slink for at least six months without any luck at all. We were both really happy when he tried on the new skin from Hermony at the current round of The Men's Department. We both really liked it a lot- so now he finally has a new skin. This is Hermony Symon and it comes with some chest hair tattoos, stubble, and pubic hair as well as a hairbase version skin. It has slink hand and feet appliers available separately. I like it. It is a manly skin and meets all of both our requirements for a new male skin. Yay!

Hiram also picked up a new jacket/shirt combo and new shoes at TMD. Hiram is a manly man. He will not wear saggy crotch and flat butt pants of any kind. He won't wear trendy items that look like they are made for teenagers. He wants normal manly looking items that fit his body like men's clothes should. That is all ok with me because I feel exactly the same. I hate saggy crotch and flat bottom items for any gender. So it is often hard to find things he likes. He does like to look and shop though, so that's a plus in my book. He picked up this Cold Ash jacket and L. Warwick shoes at TMD.

So.Much.Cute! My outfit started with the 50% charity donation (ASPCA) necklace from Cae at Cirque de Seraphim that is two entwined giraffes and the cutest necklace EVER! Then I needed to hold my giraffe plushie and wear giraffe ears! I went with the deer ear headband by ploom- its close and reminds me of giraffe ears and adds to the cute. My shoes are brand new from L.Warwick for both boys and girls at the current round of The Men's Department. I needed new mesh sneakers and these are so well done! They come in black, white, red/black, black/purple (shown), rasta, and white/pink.

My outfit is Slink Physique applier clothing that lets me wear my curvy shape. The Hopscotch wavy shirts and Somnia Jeans can both be found at My Slink Obsession (MSO) November. This event has a ton of great items more of which I plan to blog because I AM obsessed with my slink parts! The shirt comes in 7 colors and the jeans come in three black/grayscale denim shades and three blue denim shades all with optional mesh cuff attachments. I missed ripped jeans! Both items appliers are HUD driven and you can change the textures easily with one applier HUD. I love that feature with physique applier clothing too. MSO just started yesterday and you can shop this round til November 30th.

I got these "adorable" fishnet stockings in 14 colors for only 135L that have appliers for physique, ghetto booty, and wowmeh. I also picked up some mesh items. Plaid skirts and sweaters are totally Kirsten fall apparel.

I am visiting the newly decorated Pixel Bean Coffeehouse owned by Harlow Heslop. It is really a beautiful fall sim full of lots of little details. The Pixel Bean is a social group that has various activites or is just a nice place to hang out and chat. You should go explore this pretty sim.

Today I made a video tutorial of some rigged mesh editing skills the modern 2014 Second Life Fashionista needs! Because the average resident has not had to edit or re-size anything since about 2010 due to re-size scripts and rigged mesh, I think a lot of basic skills we all used to know have been lost. In this video tutorial you will learn how to apply some old and new fashion editing skills to a modern 2014 rigged mesh world.

We will learn how to:

Click on/ grab/ select rigged mesh
Tint Rigged Mesh (even if it says no modify, sometimes its scripts that are no mod and not the mesh)
Edit Rigged Mesh skirt prims so they look like they fit perfectly
Why Kirsten likes applier clothing on her rigged mesh body, totally my opinion

I was wearing this lingerie and shoes and getting ready to take pictures when i got my Sassy! blogger box yesterday. After I opened it and tried on the new skins, I had to blog that right then and I did not think about it and just wore this cute Izzie's lingerie. I love how this lingerie looks with these Oxford Candy heels though, so repeat! The leaves are changing all over the place and I know that because I see it in pictures and on TV, but I live in Florida and we don't have a lot of trees that have leaves that change. That is why I really enjoy fall leaves and trees in second life since I don't have that in real life. My outfit today has a "leaves" theme interwoven in the pieces. My shoes have a really pretty pink and purple leaf pattern on them. They are new by L.Warwick at the Seasons Story. You can find six whimsical pattern wedges at the event.

I miss G Field a whole lot. I wish Cerberus Noel would make Slink add-on shoes! I am glad she has been releasing a few things again though but not near enough. I want more. My skirt and top are both new at creation.jp by G Field. They are really well made pieces of mesh. The top is scripted to be both tucked or untucked and it comes in three different color packs with 5 colors each.

I am wearing the Elation heels by L.Warwick again because I can't seem to take them off my feet. This is the Mint/Candy pair that are my very favorite ones. Find them for a limited time at My Attic.

Maai has some very sexy new dresses that I can apply to my Slink Physique. I am wearing my curvy shape with this design. This is Ewa in red and it also comes in purple and black. Maai also has some more new lingerie that you can apply to your physique too. You can find them all in the main Maai store.

My jewelry is by Kunglers and it is amazing. I went to the main store the other day after seeing their items at jewelry fair and I was so impressed by all the new jewelry that has been added since I last went to the store months ago. I think this set is just gorgeous. My bracelets are also by Kunglers and a new release that you can find at the Jewelry Fair.

I am visiting the Home and Garden Expo 2014 today. It is really big, 7 full sims and kind of daunting but filled with all kinds of pretty things. I am looking at a house by Maven Homes in my pictures today.

L.Warwick's newest shoes reminded me of tweed, deep color tones, and autumn. So I am exploring a pretty sim today that has changed seasons for fall, France Portnawak. I love black and white together and these shoes do it with such elegance and class. Lindsey is even making two version of her shoes now- one for the new Belleza body that is coming out this week and one for Slink. Unfortunately these shoes were for an event that was supposed to open yesterday and got postponed till October 15th.

L.Warwick has new shoes coming on Monday for the Appliers Expo, Revelry. I love the heel shape! This shoe will be available in 10 colors for your slink medium feet starting August 25th.

I am really into chevron patterns in RL. I think they are cute and fun. This dress is new from Ducknipple at District 5. It comes with a color change hud to change the chevron pattern into 5 fun colors.

I am wearing an updated Slink Physique mesh body, version 1.4. I am loving the update! It makes it much easier to wear shorter skirts and shorts with smaller parts to hide in that area and you can hide right and left sides separately too now. If you have not gotten the updated version, go to the main Slink store and click on a re-delivery sign. It is super easy and this new HUD makes it even easier to wear clothes with this body.
